- Clean and spacious room with large bathroom with lovely shower and two sinks with mirrors. Conveniently located upstairs next to bar/restaurant. We were able to bring our dogs and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was tasty and portion size was large! We also had breakfast, it was plentiful and lovingly made. Far too much on offer! A good complaint :)

- At arrival we were informed that the hotel didn’t accepted international credit cards. We we directed to a cash machine at the local bank. Only by luck we got access to the cash machine, as it was behind locked doors. Only locals with an access card could access the gate. This was an unpleasant surprise. From the information at booking.com it is clearly states that the hotel accepts international credit cards. The reality is that they do not.

Strange room layout
the room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. it has clearly been refurbished recently. the shower was good. the location is great
after driving 600km we were looking for a warm welcome. when we arrived we had to call a number for check in - costing us roaming charges - and pay immediately. we booked this hotel in a small town because it had a bar and an amazing looking menu. we had actually chosen what we were going to eat. we found out the bar and restaurant were not open on Tuesdays. this information is not on their booking details. when queried we were told there are other restaurants in town. the bathroom smelt, which permeated the whole room. the curtains were not adequate to keep the room dark at 5am. there were no glasses in the room. there was no one available to return the key in the morning. the WiFi wasn’t great. outdoor steps to get to the room were not a problem when it isn’t raining.
