Pros +
- Nice people, ample parking space, decent breakfast, quiet place inspite of being next to the industrial setups (but that could be due to a weekend). A decent sized Edeka is within 15 mins of walking distance, with bakery and fresh meat options.
- The hotel managed our late arrival and provided us with a key code. Good breakfast and easy location, near Europapark.
- A clean, modern hotel, an excellent breakfast.Rooms are big enough, with 2 comfortable chairs, a frigo bar, tv and internet. You only have to scan a QR and you are connected.
Cons -
- Bare necessities taken care of. No restaurants in the hotel, the hotel reception did advise 1 Italian and 1 German option within 15-20 mins of walking distance. we used the Italian one, which was nice.
- Like almost all the hotels in Germany, the beds have heavy covertures. In summer this may be too warm to sleep under.
- A bit of a hustle to check in, until I understood the reception would be open again at 17:00 and I should have called for a code if I arrived between 12 and 17, but the lovely staff made everything fine and comfortable afterwards.
