Great location fright on the Camino Ingles. Beautiful large rooms and delicious meals.
What a lovely place. I enjoyed not only my room and the quiet but also that the bar was open in the evening and is frequented by locals. I look forward to the day they find a new chef as I'd love to enjoy a meal there! (Note if you're a pilgrim, there is a place to eat within walking distance but it's closed on Mondays, which was the day I was there. I knew this ahead of time and so stopped for a big lunch in an earlier town before I got to Pazo de Merced.) This is not far at all from the Camino, but do take a look so you know when to get off the Camino:) Juan will help you with directions to get back on it in the morning. Also enjoyed learning more about the history of the property from Juan in the morning--and thanks for opening the church for us to see that as well!
Clean, comfortable rooms with everything we needed. Paul was extremely helpful and attentive.

Beautiful restored monastery or convent. Was able to view the chapel. Beautiful views. Very quiet sleeping!
The walk down from the main road (it was a rainy day) after a day on the Camino. I was too tired to walk back up to town to find food- no dinner options just breakfast. Paul served me wine and olives and I was able to order from Uber Eats so it all worked out.
Beautiful building, grounds and scenery.
Smoking in public spaces
It was fun to spend the night in a historical building who used to be a convent. The room was big and comfortable with a great view. The owner opened the chapel for us to visit which was nice. Also enjoyed having drinks in the courtyard. Very friendly staff.
There is no restaurant on premise and we were too tired to walk 1 km to the nearest town. Tried unsuccessfully to order delivery. It wasn’t a big issue for us but be warned.
The place is nice and cozy, near the water and surrounded by vegetation. Old house very well remodeled with a modern touch
It's a bit off main road, access is a bit confusing. No one welcomed us when we arrived. Very few personnel. No food available at the place or near. A supermarket is available almost 2 miles away. Breakfast was provided but poor for the price
Friendly staff and owner. We got there quite early on the Camino and they let us hang out in the beautiful and cozy library till our room was ready.
Just make sure you plan on where to eat before your arrival (or bring a picnic to eat outside if the weather is nice). They do sell drinks and you can pay for a nice breakfast buffet in the morning.
The room is big and the bathroom. I like the hallway. Its spacious and clean
The location was a bit far from the camino path but still we manage to arrive from a long day walk.
The property is beautiful and the owners take such pride in a family member to renovated this monastery. I deeply appreciated the host helping so kindly to transport me to the farmacia when I had a medical problem.
Our stay was nice, but a little cold both in our room and in the lounge area.
There is nothing around the hotel, so plan to drive or walk to any other business (bar, restaurants, store).
Beautiful restored small hotel right on the camino Ingles. The view to the water was spectacular. Bed was super comfortable. Wonderful amenities. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We didn't have the full breakfast there but coffee was available.
It was cold in the common areas and the room. The space heater worked well, just not enough for the room size. I'd stay here again though.
Quiet area on the matters edge in Neda looking at Ferrol across the river. Longish walk there but taxis are available. Hotel has great character and atmosphere. Owner has limited English but is very helpful and welcoming.
Nothing it was great.
Good location on the river. Staff very friendly, and outside cafe. Room size exceptional, but as a converted Manor house somewhat unusual in decoration.
Swimming pool closed as middle of October, even though 27C. Also the pianos in property need turning- all badly out of key.
Amazing service, great waterfront property.
Could feel a little cleaner - one of the pillow cases on my bed still had the smell of a previous guest.
Beautiful location.
Only complaint was a big one. We had a second booking for a friend who was not able to travel with us,due to injury. We canceled the room 3 weeks before our stay & the hotel refused to drop the room fee. We had to pay for his room in full- be aware.
Breakfast was very good
We stopped here whilst walking the Camino. We arrived during a storm and were told that the restaurant was closed. We had to arrange taxis to the nearest restaurant which added a further €20 on to the cost of the stay. Lighting in bedroom was very poor. Would need a couple of extra lamps to see. We actually had to put our head torches on to see into some areas!
Quiet, peaceful and grounds
No dinner available
