Beautiful natural setting, nice pool. Free breakfast drinks. Friendly staff. Enough outlets in room. Allowed early check-in to leave gear prior to going canyoneering with their company.
A heat wave wasn’t the best moment to experience this hotel. No window openings in room and no a/c: had to leave door open overnight to breathe. I am not nervous by nature and it seems we were alone in the hotel, but having to leave door wide open overnight could feel unsafe to many.The fan (though wobbly and very loud) helped, but a cross-breeze would have been better. No screens, but luckily no mosquitoes.The style is appealing but several points make it uncomfortable:- rather hard bed (Italian-style)- no bedside lights. How to read in bed?- dim overhead light- sink in room with no table or shelf nearby- harsh, one-sided light at sink mirror- damaged window shade — frayed, discolored, didn’t close completely - extremely dirty windowsill

there was absolutely no ventilation , just one door,-there were no facilities in the communal kitchen - no utensils or plates . just a microwave and tap.mould in the bathroom and very uncomfortable .
