Just 2.5 mi from Siena Train Station and 5.6 mi from Monteriggioni Castle, Agriturismo Il Sambuco is a renovated characteristic Tuscan farmhouse that produces olive oil. The spacious garden is complete with swimming pool The rooms feature garden views, a TV and a cooling fan. The bathroom is equipped with hairdryer and free toiletries. The apartments have a TV and a living/dining area with fully equipped kitchen. A sweet Italian-style breakfast is available daily to guests booking a room. It includes hot and cold drinks and croissants. - The location is secluded, but still very clise to Siena, lovely quiet and in the middle of beautiful nature and good value for the money. The room was not small, quite high ceiling, bathroom equipped with all you need, even bidet was there, towels were white clean. We appreciated that we could fill the water tank in our campervan.
Cons -
- When we checked in, the restaurant was already closed, so we stayed without dinner. We stayed in December and even though the AC was operating and heating on max, the room was still cold. The socket next to my bed was broken.
