Logis Hôtel Le Saint Florent

Room was clean, staff was friendly, though not always available. Location near Chateau Chambord is very good. Breakfast was good.

It was a very hot day and the hotel is not air conditioned. There was a very warm duvet with no top sheet, making the only option no covers at all. There were a number of restaurants in town, but the hotel staff said they were all closed. It was a Thursday evening around 7:00. They could only recommend restaurants in nearby towns.The room was quite small. Fine for sleeping, but not much else.

The hotel was really easy to find and was located well for visiting the area. We came to see Chambord specifically and chose the hotel just for the one night. Great choice! It was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were really nice and helpful and the breakfast was good and there was plenty of it.All round a good place to spend a few nights.

The room was extreemly hot.The beds were small.The shawer was small.There were no parking place in the yard.

Friendly staff, good room, good breakfast. Ideal location for both Cambord and Cheverney castles. We enjoyed hotel restaurant and also another excellent local restaurant.

The adjoining restaurant is very good. We ate there twice. The breakfast is also good with a wide ranging and plentiful buffet. The bathroom was newly refurbished and was modern and efficient. We were able to park on site.

The room itself was very basic and the bed not particularly comfortable. There are no tea/coffee making facilities ( not uncommon in France). Nor was there anywhere to sit except on the bed. There are no common rooms either so apart from a single upright chair at the small table in the room, sitting down for example, to read or play cards, was a problem.

Located on noisy main road and more expensive than similar Logis.

A bit close to road and a few noisy motorbikes, but not a problem.

Breakfast was fine. Restaurant opposite also seemed good.

Reception only open during certain times - fair enough as it’s a small hotel but this could have been notified in email. We arrived to locked doors on a cold and wet day. Hotel rooms were cold especially after travel and visiting a freezing castle. It was not a comfortable stop.

Family room divided into two areas ideal for 3 or 4, plus wet room, lovely restaurant with excellent menu. Good buffet breakfast. Good location near Bois with easy access to A10.

No separate bar or access to hot drinks especially for long distance travellers.
