Terres de France - Les Hameaux des Lacs is a small holiday village consisting of comfortable and well-equipped chalets, surrounded by lakes in a pretty forest. Guests have access from June until September close to the village to a shared covered heated seasonal swimming pool, an outdoor municipal leisure center by the city lake, a tennis court and barbecue facilities. - The site itself was very nice. Good leisure facilities and some nice places to run. As long as you are prepared to drive a bit, there are some great places within reach. Petit France, only a 15 minute drive away, is a particularly good hidden gem.

- The accommodation was OK but basic. It was disappointing that the kitchen only had a hob, not an oven or grill. So many supermarket fast(ish) food options were ruled out, such as pizza. It was hard to find anywhere nearby to eat out, unfortunately. The nearby village of Monclar de Quercy only has one bar / restaurant and one pizzeria.

The staff was friendly and always ready to help, even while communicating in other languages beside French was quite challenging for most of the staff.The swimming pool and the lake were great.
After our trip to Monclar, we've waited a long time (1,5 hour) in the burning sun - with a lot of other guests - for our check in. I would suggest to organize this part better to experience a good and 'warm' welcome. The house was not that clean when we arrived, therefor we've cleaned it a bit more by ourselves.
Quietness at night
Internet lacking even at reception during 2 days.Despite covid there was a large party going on without masks or distance.The idea of having to pay for everything was disliked.
