Elefsina Hotel

The location was along the way to my destination, Meteora. I wanted to get out of Athens (or face Monday morning traffic) and the hotel was in a great stop out of the city.

The breakfast buffet could have been better. No coffee in the rooms. The hotel allows smoking in the room, evidenced by the ash tray.

Very enjoyable stay en route to Leonidio, in a large room with comfotable bed. Very tasty dinner on the rooftop terras. Friendly staff.

Beds were not very comfortable. And we booked a twin got a double then they changed to a twin room but the bathroom was for disabled guests which made the showering uncomfortable. Breakfast was nice but not more than that.

We arrived at 4am because ferry delayed. Night receptionist was very grumpy and not welcoming. Bed too narrow for two people and not very comfortable.

Convenient location on our journey to the Peloponnese. The pool was lovely and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly . The rooms were clean and comfortable.

A/C was not working

The air conditioning wasn’t working in most rooms so we had to live around at midnight with three kids until eventually my husband and I carried mattresses from one room without A/C to one with, and the kids ended up sleeping on the mattresses on the floor. I had prepaid and they would not refund anything.

The worst hotel with bad Coustemer service and disrespectful manager ?In addition it is located way far from the airport up to 100 Euro for taxi. Nothing else in the area. Just a living Appartements.We made a mistake of booking it for two days. We have to leave in a few hours but get only one day payment with some fee deducted. One day booking was taken without even stepping our foot to the room.The manager and the receptionist are so disrespectful that they don’t even want to properly explain the situation. And they act as if they are so nice for giving us part of the one day payment back.Never book Elefsina if you come to Athens!My worst experience ☺️?

The room was clean and spacious

The breakfast was appauling. Very bad quality. rotten fruit, overboiled eggs, anemic pastries.The underground car park was a dangerous mess. Extremely hard to navigate and dangerous. Hit the bottom of the car at the edge of teh ramp.

We arrived at nearly 1am after travel delays and were welcomed with a smile and shown to our rooms quickly. AC and WiFi worked well and we enjoyed the pool and proximity to the Elefsina archaeological site and museum. They stored our luggage for us the next day when we had a late night ferry.

The staff was professional and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and offered everything one could ask for. The facility was modern and well kept. The proximity to the archaeological site and museum of Eleusis is convenient.

It was open to us at 2300 when we arrived, very good breakfast, nice pool.

The carpets in the corridors could do with replacing and a lot of the wall sockets were coming away from the walls.

Location is near some really nice tavernas! There is underground free parking.

The fitness is really tiny… the maximum dumbbell weight is 15 kg.

Location is perfect. It's quite area close to everything you need like shop, restaurants and sightseeing.

My overall experience was very positive. Clean, comfortable and relaxing environment and they didnt close down breakfast or other services over the new years period. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, seems to be the standard in Greece.Breakfast had fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt and proper fried eggs - not the dreaded powdered scrambled eggs. A good variety of sweets and pastries to go with the coffee most of which looked homemade. The food served in the restaurant in the evenings was also of a decent standard and at a good price (then again I live in Denmark so all food is cheaper elsewhere) Clearly the best hotel in Elefsina and would come here again if my work brings me here. Only a couple of small things- the water in my room takes a while before it runs hot. In the hand basin it takes especially long because the flow is weak, but the shower is good and stays hot. The other small issue was the pillows. Only 2 for a double bed and 1 was very hard. Had a bad neck one day after sleeping on it, I guess I should just have asked.Also the card activated power switch was a little funny in room 301 takes 2 or 3 attempts to get it working.

The hotel was comfortable with nice restaurants in walking distance.

In principle, Elefsina is an industrial town and not so attractive for tourists. However, it was conveniently located for day trips. We were disappointed to find out that most hotels facilities such as the rooftop bar were closed.
