The place is wonderful, good food, beautiful biking in the woods… i wish i had more time to enjoy

Few noise people at the restaurant, but it was not there fault

Beautiful property. Stunning location. Upgraded to a suite which was gorgeous. Electric charging point.

The main restaurant food and wine offering needs work. All style over substance unfortunately. Food overall too sweet. 6 courses took 4 hours. Glassware choice really poor for a Relais property. Wine prices too high. Wine flight was poor and didn’t match food at all. Breakfasts ok only. Fried eggs undercooked. Hotel seems very under staffed. No toilets in the reception area. Have to book swimming pool times the day before. No tea making facilities in room.

Nice surrounding, long walk or cycling around the park/forest just around the corner of the hotel which were very pleasant.Staff were friendly, polite and professional.

The site and walks around the castle are incredible.

We couldnt find staff at the bar, or at the spa when we went. under-staffed possibly during peak season?

The walking restrictions around the property, we understand that there should be restrictions on the golf course but there were plenty of areas the could have been made more accessible! And the shower left room for improvement given that we had an executive room

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Beautiful and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. Set in a wonderful park opposite the castle.

The hotel was clearly in off season when we visited which was not evident from their online booking presence. This meant the outdoor pool was closed and not accessible and the level of competency from the staff was not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We were among the only people in the restaurant and our steaks were clearly overcooked. Overall a lovely place but make sure you check details particularly when booking for early june.

Grounds and property were exceptional, the staff were all magnificent, happy and helpful. So relaxing and the golf course was great!

Everything was perfect from the beginning till the end; staff was really friendly and polite (front desk, cleaning, waiters, golf shop…), our villa was extremely clean and well maintained, the food at Le Club had variety and was always tasty and of course the surroundings were awesome: the Chateau, the lake, the forest…We traveled with two dogs and didn’t have a single issue during our stay.

Beautiful garden and restaurant.

There were flys in the restaurant and the bistro. I was surprised people don’t care of that .

We’ve wanted to stay at this hotel for a while as we have played golf here several times.Our bill for dinner, bed and breakfast was £600 and I’m afraid to say it definitely wasn’t worth it. Room very mediocre, poorly stocked mini bar and tea tray - didn’t even have teaspoons and given milk in a mug which you couldn’t pour without spilling everywhere. This is supposed to be a 5 star hotel.Dinner was good but portions very small and continuously being offered bread to fill you up I suppose? Service generally good and helpful from most members of staff.

Magnificent setting and surroundings, like a fairytale castle. Beautiful grounds and lovely cotttages/villages on which to stay and exceptional dinner in the main restaurant. Golf course and other facilities available.

The staff customer services was excellent, particularly Daniel. Facilities superb. This hotel is rightly classified as 5 stars.
