    Pros +

    • Very friendly and very communicative host. Very close (20 minutes drive) to Rifugio Citelli for sunrise views. Great views of Mt Etna from the top deck of the hotel and also from our room balcony, although branches of the tree across the street could be trimmed a little bit. Very good few restaurants (Four Archi, others) close by.
    • We were visiting Milo for the annual wine festival so we wanted a place close to the town. It was very convenient to get to other vineyards in the area and to Mt. Etna. The room was a good size and so was the bathroom but typical small european shower. It had a small balcony where we could the peak of Mt. Etna. The upstairs was an added bonus and we enjoyed breakfast there and star gazing in the evening. The best part of our stay was Raffaele. He was wonderful. Pleasant and helpful.
    • The view of Etna out our room's window was a great plus, and Raffeaele worked hard to ensure our stay was a pleasant one. The music playing in the lobby and restaurant was classy and calming. Breakfast and lunch/dinner options were fresh and tasty. And the location, viewing Etna and just up the road from the central square of Milo was a great base for all things Etna.

    Cons -

    • The room could've been cleaned a bit better. And the rooms with the balcony are along the main road so it's a bit noisy. You do have a view of Mt. Etna though. The rooms are no frills & plain with not much decor. But you don't spend much time in it.
    • The room was very humid (probably due to the weather conditions at the time of our stay).

Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing view of Etna from the view rooms and the terrace. There’s a restaurant and coffee bar downstairs so you have all you need.

The hotel’s living room / common area has a really welcoming and comfy atmosphere. The owner is very nice and took perfect care of us throughout our stay. It’s a great location if you want to go on Mount Etna (unfortunately we had to cancel our expedition due to heavy rains). Would definitely recommend !

The room was very humid (probably due to the weather conditions at the time of our stay).

The location was great to visit Mount Etna. There is parking on the street and a elevator to take luggage up to the rooms. It was a basic room, which included what we needed to stay for the two nights. The view would have been great if it wasn't foggy/cloudy. A small balcony is included. The service from the hotel staff was friendly and warm. The view from the shared terrace is spectacular at night.

The main meal at the restaurant was small portions and had no flavour, although the antipasti other guests had ordered looked appetising. I wouldn't eat at the restaurant again.

The guy that after speaking to a very unfriendly owner welcomed us was fantastic. you only have a view of the volcano from the roof top.

Not a very good welcoming by the owner...we arrived on location at 15.00 ....the front door was locked and a message saying we are in the roof top call the number...the owner answered and the first thing he said was you are one hour early...check in is at 16.00....the room is not ready but I will send one my staff to let you in...Rosario was extremely nice to welcome us...he let us in and immediately showed us the way to our room that was ready...we reserved a room with a view of the volcano, but it was no view because of a big tree infront. Looks like the owner leaves on the next floor up and in the evening when they are at home a lot of noise are coming through....

This property had a gorgeous terrace and amazing staff that can’t do enough for you! Rosario was amazing and Gabrielle cooked amazing food. My husband and I loved sitting in the terrace and watching Etna (who we were lucky enough to see very active)

The town is tiny (which is nice) but there is only one shop and they open on a whim as well as the restaurants. We didn’t have a car and were able to do many amazing hikes but were rather limited.

Great view of Etna, great location, great host and staff, fab food.

    Everything was great!

    Nice spot and nice stuff

It was a bit cold and we did not have the A/C remote... and hot water was not working properly in the shower

The hotel has a really good location if you want to visit Etna. Good value for money. The host was helpful.

A modern and comfortable hotel with great views of Mount Etna in some of the rooms. A quick drive or 10 minute walk to the town centre of Milo, where there are restaurants, cafes and shops. There is limited parking out the front of the hotel but we were lucky and parked opposite the hotel. The staff were friendly and offer a special price at the on-site restaurant/wine bar. We paid a last minute discounted rate so it was great value for money.

    9TonyPosted on: 4-15-2024

Rooms were really spacious - balconies look e straight to Mt Etna - picture perfect. Breakfast was excellent and ample and Raffael was a brilliant host.

    6HeatherPosted on: 4-6-2024

On a clear day, I could see Mt. Etna from my room. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. The hotel was right on the side of the main road. Agata drove me (for a fee) to my train station in the morning.

I was arriving without a car and the only information I received was that there is a bus (and the name of the bus company). If you have a car, this isn't an issue for you, but I thought it was weird that they didn't help me more with the timetable and where to find the bus. Apparently there is a "Milo" in the town of Catania, so I wasted my time going there first and then realized that the only bus to the Milo I wanted to go to was at 7:30PM, which was clearly an every-day schedule. (I spoke to about 20 bus drivers while waiting four hours for the bus). I think this could/should be something that the accommodation helps newcomers to understand. Again, if you have a car, this won't be an issue. Agata and her partner were kind and helpful if I asked specific questions. The walls are thin. The people next door who had a lovely time with eachother multiple times during the night impacted my sleep, but that is not the fault of the accommodation. I was charged twice, but that was rectified within 48 hours once I brought it to the attention of the accommodation.

It's a simple hotel, great for a stay when you want to visit Mount etna. The restaurant was closed, but I bet on the roof terrace its a great spot with a epic view on mount etna. Rosario is also a very nice and friendly host.

    Not ideal

No control of massive noise pollution by other guests even though hotel personal could see and here this.

    8AmarisPosted on: 1-19-2024

Great breakfast for a very affordable price. Owners were friendly and allowed us to check-in early. Convenient location for exploring the Mount Etna area. Dined at the hotel the night of our stay, and food and wine was very good. Room was basic but clean.

Parking in the street outside the hotel was limited, but available a few meters away.

    6AlinePosted on: 11-16-2023

The location was great and the host was very friendly. The price was very low.

The room was a bit dodgy, the walls crumbling and dirty, so were the curtains. The shower was dated and uncomfortable. It was also very noisy. All in all, as the price was very low, I guess I shouldn’t have expected better but the comments made previously surely are overrated.

Quiet , welcoming , clean. Close to Etna.
