    Pros +

    • Nice property overlooking a golf course in the middle of nature. The room’s atmosphere was very nice.
    • We chose this as a stop off on the way to Spain from the UK as it was pet friendly. It was perfect location and nice to relaxed with a glass of wine after a very long driveRoom did smell slightly but in the whole it was what we expected albeit I booked the Orchard Room and that’s not what was provided.Receptionist was lovely.
    • The traditional room was cozy, it had some old traits to it. The bed was fine, the view was the front room and just looked over the parking lot. Internet was fine. Breakfast was average but ok. Beer was great at night. I think this would have been a nicer room if I could have enjoyed it with my wife. Read below. The front desk was nice to recommend a great outdoors place to eat. Glad we went there. Overall I would stay here again. It is a good place has a lot of family stuff to do and I am sure everyone said the golf course is next door.

    Cons -

    • The room was not soundproof and we could hear other guests coming and going during the night. The bathroom was very tired with broken accessories and not clean.
    • Checking out was a different story. We chose to leave early given we had a long drive ahead. The gentleman checking us out charged me €12 for the dog even though I had an email stating this would be complimentary. He then tried to charge us for 2 bottles of water which we never had and then the small glasses of wine he charged us nigh on €40 for which I was shocked at.I asked for a receipt and to date, still have not received so that tainted our experience with the hotel.
    • I booked for my family so I had to get two rooms. My fault as I did not know that there are two buildings and they are separated by a nice walking distance. I have two 9 year olds, not at the age you can leave them walking distance away. So I got one and my wife got the other. I got the traditional room and my wife the other. My fault, I should not have assumed they were together, when I asked at the front desk if we could be all together in the same building they said NO. I was shocked. The lift is typical small, so be aware.

Room basic but clean. Bathroom similar. Restaurant meal was delightful but a set menu with no choice. One waiter serving drinks and dinner made it very slow. Such a shame he didnt have some help. But he did his best. Great breakfast.

Lack of choice in the restaurant and poor drinks service due to a lack of staff.

The room was large but almost too large. The "AC" would not reach the loft. It was easily 10 degrees warmer in the loft. Thankfully we didn't need to use it for children or else we would have been in trouble.

We stayed here versus Poitiers due to proximity to a wedding. But if I could go back in time, I would have easily stayed in Poitiers instead. The AC barely worked and extremely limited options for food. I probably would not stay here again.

the hotel is in a very nice setting, good food in the restaurant, good beer in the bar.this is the second time we've stayed here and we will definitely stay again

It is a beautiful building surrounded by a golf course. The restaurant is very nice and the bar area. You can take your dog in the bar but not the restaurant. We’ve stayed several times on our way south to Spain and love the outside space.

There was no wardrobe in our room or any hooks, there was coffee but no milk in the room and the lock on the door was faulty. Room 108.

Splendid location, lovely building, great breakfast too bad the restaurant is closed on a Sunday because we would have enjoyed their lovely dinners (previous visit).

Our room was not the most generous and the bath/shower arrangement needs to be modernised really.

The room was large and confortable. Great view with a large terrace and comfortable bed. Great dinner, good wine selection and breakfast was good.Very welcoming for our Labrador. Staff were great.

The bathroom was a bit tired and, understand as it was early in the year, but the pool wasn't open which was shame.

Lovely staff, great evening meal and breakfast

Our room was in the roof, bathroom was tiny, couldn’t stand up in the shower because of roof. Only found out after booking that the pool was closed and booking was non refundable

There is a lovely old manor house atmosphere, the beds were very comfortable and the cooked breakfast options were a nice surprise for France and a delicious start to the day. The 24 hour reception staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no wardrobe or clothes hanging space.

Lovely hotel in a great location with a top restaurant

Rooms in the old building were getting a little tired.

Beautiful location, very nice and welcoming staff, nice breakfast

The property wasn’t very clean, there was no curtain for the shower and a lot of mold, booking told us that there was a heated indoor swimming pool that’s why we chose this but the heated pool is not available, the only thing that was offered was for €17 which I think is very offensive when you pay a premium rate to have pool facilities, the spa should’ve been offered for Free as a gesture

An old building, in the public areas it was very impressive particularly the bar and breakfast room. The rooms had all the facilities required and are comfortable but will need a refresh shortly. The food and service in the Restraunt and bar was excellent.

Sadly our lasting impression may be this, we rang reception on Wednesday morning and afternoon and Thursday morning and afternoon and we are no further forward regarding a blue gullet we left in the wardrobe of room 108.During our telephone conversation to day it concluded again we should ring reception tomorrow to establish we hope that the gillet has been found. It was a Christmas present from my wife value about 200 euros. Assuming it is found we are of course happy to pay any cost in asking you to return it by post or similar.Hope to have positive news tomorrow.

Nice hotel and grounds, staff very polite.

We traveled from the UK that day and this was our stop over, we arrived about 21.30, the restaurant was closed and they didn't have any food at all, no bar food or room service at a hotel , they literally didn't offer us anything except drive to the nearest town to another restaurant that said it was too late to order, next morning found out the swimming pool etc all shut and that's the only reason we booked it for a bit of time in between travel, don't go and expect a mean or any relaxing time, might as well book a travel lodge.?

Parking outside the hotelComfortable bed & clean, warm room French breakfast was good

They gave us an attic room. Watch out for the beams! We found the food to be expensive

    Price and location

€17 per hour for the steam room and sauna, and only with a reservation. Tyranny.

We just stayed one night on a stop-over did not try the pool or golf course next door. Great family room, good size and plenty of room. In the more modern building but still nice. The Manoir itself is charming. Breakfast was good quality though a bit crowded. Did not try restaurant. Lovely simple property and very decent price. Nice staff. Great alternative to motorway hotels.

Shame the restaurant/ bar was closed on a busy Sunday but appreciated being able to bring a drink up to room.

Very spacious room with seating area for 4, adequate facilities. Excellent value for money. Restaurant offered great 2 or 3 course formule menu, delicious food and full drinks carte. Friendly efficient staff, english spoken. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment.

Swimming pool changing area needs more coat hooks and an additional shower. Very small changing area and dressing facilities, when weather is cold (December!) and you need to be able to get dressed properly before going out again the space was limited.

Atmosphere.Good bar and restaurant service.Very nice food.
