- After hours of driving in roadworks on the A1, Elbe Tunnel and the 7 highway I looked for a less traveled road to get me to Denmark. I ended up in Meldorf and this hotel in the center of a beautiful village.The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel including a large room was very clean and comfortable. The evening meal was excellent.Breakfast was included in the very reasonable room price and very good. I couldn't ask for a better stay. I will return on my next trip through the area.

- The beds were terrible. The mattress was thin. Beds were os low that you could touch the floor while in bed. The pillows were awful, not really pllows but like chopped foam i a bag. The room is small, and that cannot be helped. The bathroom was small too, and that cannot be helped. But the beds were so uncomfortable as well as the pillows.A little work, and the hotel could be really good. Great staff, restaurant and location.

The hotel was quiet & the staff were very nice. Breakfast was well catered. The hotel parking is very limited on a first come first served basis but parking is available in the square adjacent to the hotel.
