- Family owned - good in size, good location
- Very good location for the Eifel Rallye! Excellent breakfast and dinner exceptional good! Service could not be better! Thanks!!
- Friendly family run Hotel, staff were relaxed and helpful. Breakfast was good, evening meals also varied and good.
Cons -
- Not many options for dinner in Mehren when arriving late on a Wednesday evening, but we could find something in Daun.No thick curtains to cover windows from the light.
- The room had a nice balcony but during our stay we could not use it because it was raining! Not the hotels mistake.
- Room could be a bit hot if you forget to close the curtain, not really a big issue

Lovely spacious room. Great view with nice balcony.Very clean. Good beds with new mattresses. A bit firm for our taste, but we're used to rather soft beds at home.Very friendly, helpfull staff.Cozy atmosphere. Nice, fresh breaktfast with view across valley from breakfast room. We've already recommended this hotel to friends, and we'd love to come back ourselves one day.
WLAN was too slow for streaming, but we used our 4G connections instead, which worked fine.
What is there NOT to like? A warm welcome, restaurant on the spot (really tasty), nice wine, kid friendly, dog friendly. The room was clean, comfy and spacious. The location is wonderful - surrounded by nature. The hosts were extremely helpful, kind, and also provided me with great tips. We felt truly welcome in every way.
