breakfast was good

basic room which was expected but window frames are old and the room was a corner one with windows on both sides and as a result room was too cold to sleep in for my taste. Radiator was not enough for it to warm up consistently

Breakfast is great, staff is very friendly. Great value for money!

Very cold room! Hotel is old and requires a renovation. Too expensive for what it offers.

Hotel's reception and restaurants is in a seperate hotel, 200 meters apart and if you are not lucky and arrive after 3pm, you could be confused how to check in. I was lucky when accidentally found the owner at nearby cafe uoon my arrival,late evening. No one in jotel that is actually an old building, old towel that must be recycled and check in experience was quite disturbing to me.

Breakfast selection was amazing. hotel location is great too. If you are lucky you can find parking right in front of the hotel. otherwise the parking isn't far either

Excellent clean well-furbished room in a great hotel run by lovely friendly folks and with absolutely amazing food: the hotel restaurant has the most amazing vegetarian food and the breakfast buffet is varied, generous and of high quality. At dinner, the Kaiserschmarrn were lovely, but my favourite was the nettle-based Teigtaschen with pommegranate and sweet potato - I'm getting hungry just thinking about it !

there could have been an information board telling you where to get the keys from at the accommodation,as the reception was 50 yards down the road at the pub.apart from this it was a lovely stay

We stayed one night. The room was nice and clean with a shower. The owner waited for us as we were a little late but he still gave us dinner. Overall nice experience.

The staff were amazingly helpful and kind. The breakfast was very nice. Parking was easy and I really liked the feeling of safety and coziness of the place, two things not easy to achieve together.

I'm not fan of baths, so for me a shower would have made it totally perfect.

There was a free Sauna available, although only 4-7pm.

Reception is not in the same building. Beds were not comfortable.

The hotel is located at a gorgeous village, the room had a balcony with a stunning view to the mountains. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room itself while simple, was clean and quiet. Breakfast also good and sufficient. I really have nothing to complain about.

Every staff member was very friendly and lovely, the village was also really sweet and quiet, kids also enjoyed running around the street. Bus stop for ski resorts is right outside of the hotel. And there even was a hungarian speaking staff member at the breakfast.

It was a bit cold at night in the room.

This hotel offers exceptional value for money. It is located in the centre of beautiful Mauterndorf, just next to the bus stop (regular service by the ski bus and easy access to Radstadt station). The rooms are simple and a bit worn down, but exceptionally clean. The bathroom is tiny but limitless hot water in the shower is what made our day perfect after a long day of skiing in Obertauern and Grosseck. It was very warm in the room so drying clothes was not a problem. Huge balcony with a fantastic view. Everything is close - shops, bars, ATMs and restaurants are a maximum 4 minute walk. Sauna was available daily. The breakfasts are good - but variety might be improved a bit. Parking is available just below the hotel (see photo)A special shout out to the fantastic staff who made us feel really welcome - borrowing a kettle or cutlery was not an issue. Any request we had was immediately fulfilled. Always a warm smile, always ready to give advice about the city. The room was cleaned daily and towels were changed regularly.

Facilities not in the same building (breakfast, sauna, reception all in Seffaner hotel); this was not mentioned in description, heaters for ski boots not working (had to wear cold and sweaty boots day after), sauna not turned on, had impression that Kernwirt guests were treated less important. For such price I did not expect such hiccups. Maybe was just this once. I hope things get resolved soon, because it is a nice location in friendly town.

Personnel, very friendly and full of advices. We even got Lungau Pass card for free, no need to pay for cable lift or entrance into a local castle.

Pillows could be better. Water pressure in the shower was weak.
