Hotel Steffner-Wallner

The location , and the owner was very nice but when I showed her the picture of the dirty toilet she didn’t seem to care enough other than just saying she will tell it to the cleaning lady

It was very old and not maintained The smell in the corridor is terrible The toilet was filthy and dirty - I attached a picture

Located in the city center, bus station in front of the hotel. Breakfast is very good with choices for everybody. Staff is very friendly and you can order great dinner.

- we had unluck w/ breakfast (food plates were almost empty or out of), scrambled egg did not taste- in the description there was an extra sofa mentioned, but was too small to sleep on it.

Great room, good location and we liked the atmosphere as well.

The water pressure was a bit low in the room.

In our short visit everything was ok

Very nice hotel on excellent location with extreme friendly staff! We had to leave really early in the morning. They provided us with a take away bag full with sandwiches, drinks, bars, fruit etc. We also had a very good dinner the night we arrived! Worth a stop-over!

If I were smarter, I would not share this Little Gem". This is one terrific Gasthof in one lovely village. One hundred meters 'off the beaten path' lies this early hotel. A smart traveller would keep this Jewel hidden!The owner and his lovely wife could not have made our stay any better. Our room was well appointed, and quiet. Immediately upon arriving, hotel staff carried our bags to our room, checked us in, gave us Visitor Cards providing free access to cablecars, museums, historic building, and the fabulous Burg Maunterndorf Castle, five minutes on foot. Parking was available directly outside our hotel.The breakfast buffet was one of the best we found in our five weeks in Austria and Germany, and our eggs were cooked to order. Dinner was in a cosy dining room, with an excellent menu. Service was prompt, and attentive. We dined several evening, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere and wonderful local specialties. The desserts were even better!Hotel Steffner-Wallner is one place we will return to.

The hotel is very nice and cozy with lovely decorations. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, eager to accommodate all our needs, providing recommendations. The beds were very comfortable and the heated ski storage a good ad-on.

The breakfast was ok, but maybe a bit of more variety could've been better. We were having a lactose-gluten intolerant person in the group and in such cases it is a bit difficult to find suitable options.

I like Mauterndorf ?

Great historical hotel to stay with free ski shuttle! Will definitely return
