This 300-year old castle in Maslinica on Solta Island offers individually decorated, luxurious suites with free Wi-Fi. They are air conditioned and feature LCD satellite TVs and minibars. Every suite at the Heritage Hotel Martinis Marchi has beautiful bay views. The furniture was carefully selected from various European cities and skilfully restored. Le Château Restaurant serves traditional Dalmatian fish specialties accompanied with fine red wines form the Hotel Martinis Marchi's own wine cellar. Guests can also dine on the sun terrace with occasional live music. Heritage Hotel is located on over an acre of grounds and features its own heliport. Boat and taxi transportation is offered to Split Airport and nearby islands. Hotel Marchi's stone façade conceals 2 saunas, a spacious lounge area and a relaxation room with a piano. You can use the heated pool or relax in the large yard.

- This is the most unique and special place to stay. Only nine rooms make it especially pleasant for a family traveling together. We were there at the end of the season, so it was just our family, and we were spoiled from the minute we arrived. The rooms are gorgeous, the breakfast was lovely, and all of the staff were exceptional.

Sunsets to die for...Staff - some of the most friendly and flexible staff one would ever get to see and experience.

The staff- especially Mario- were so kind and helpful. From the minute we stepped off of our boat until leaving they could not do enough for us. Even messaging us before was useful and always with quick response. The hotel is amazing, from the the location to the room decor and the pool area. Breakfast is actually in a kitchen and they cook the breakfast for you there and then which is just incredible.Thank you for making our honeymoon perfect!

We enjoyed staying a few days in this lovely hotel. The location is perfect, we were able to have a gorgeous view from our room. The pool was clean and refreshing. The restaurant also serves beautiful seafood dishes.We loved the attention to detail and the service from staff was amazing.

Fabulous boutique hotel, designed furnished and run to a very high standard; some rooms have wonderful views across the harbour; blazingly fast internet connection
No waste basket in the room, only in the bathroom - a particularly irritating omission, given that it can so easily and cheaply be remedied; expensive, but definitely worth it if you can afford it; the restaurant is expensive and not worth it - perfectly acceptable food, service and ambience, but far from exceptional, which is what I expect at this price-point
