Hotel Rosmann

That the card machine wasn’t available. We said numerous times we were going to have to leave and find a new place. The owner was very sweet and nice but was trying to force us to stay. Sucks cause it seemed like a gorgeous place but with a card machine we weren’t able to be there

Friendly staff, flexible service, fine location, cosy atmosphere, good cuisine

Breakfast rather complex: no coffee machine, limited muesli and fresh fruit.

The location was good, everything was nearby and the parking was near the hotel. Breakfast was very good, that's why I gave rating 7, otherwise it would be 6.

No A/C and refrigerator. Beds were uncomfortable because mattress support didn't hold the shape. Everywhere was dust, even in visible places. Bathroom had mold and broken shower holder.

Very welcoming staff, the breakfast buffet was beautifully presented of fresh hams, different types of cheese, smoked salmon, home grown tomatoes, egg prepared to order, plum cake, orange juice, coffee,. Dinner smelled and tasted just soo yummy. Calamari is a big hit, but the mixed grilled plate was just so tasty. They prepared my daughter schnitzel and pommes:)

there was constant smell of mold and kitchen exhausts, even at the second floor the stink was strong and persistent.

Excellent breakfast! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room in Annexe OK, but rather basic. No Kettle or Fridge, no curtain in showerbath (which means a shower was not possible unless you want to wet up the whole room) in the room that came with a bath tub.

It's close to the center and there is a nice path along a small river stream going from the hotel to the city center. There were no mosquitos in the hotel.

Bathroom door (sliding door) were broken and could not close. The hotel walls and ceilings weren't cleaned very thoroughly as there were bugs and spiders on the ceilings which the kids didn't like that much. There was no soap in the dispenser in the bathroom. Toilet seat was replaced with a seat that was smaller than the actual toilet. Minor cosmetics details like cables from the wall TV unnecessary hanging around that just contribute to the whole impression that not enough care was given to tidying up the room. Overall the furniture is in need of renovation.

Despite our late arrival Mrs. Gerti was waiting for us. The breakfast was very varied, plentiful and delicious. The area around the hotel is very picturesque.

Although the booking was confirmed, whem I arrived at the property I was told they were full, that the reservation systen does not work and they sent me away.

Very old furnished. Need improvement. Kitchen smelling on the entire first floor. Also in the room!

Friendly Service

We couldn't pay with card. We had to withdraw money at an ATM. Very annoying. This is the 2nd time this happens to me in a hotel in Austria - it seems to be a trend to pay in cash instead of paying with card. Although we received a discount when the lady said, "you don't have to pay the council tax". That was a bit odd, but fine with me. Another issue was the fact that the room had no AC at all - we were a family of four and sleeping there was very bad and uncomfortable since each night felt like a sauna. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special.
