Everything was great! 50 euros for 2 bed sleeping room and included breakfast + indoor swimming pool access.

Of course, the downside was public toilets and shower rooms. And the mosqito net was torn. Was quite hot on the sunny side.

Lovely & scenic surroundings with a small garden and a pond. Loved the outside hot tub and the view. Perfect bonus was to have the SPA area at exclusive use.

The swimming pool looked so appealing but it was cold - only 22 degrees!!! We came late for breakfast and it was very poor overall (not much of a choice).

A special atmosphere inside and marvelous surroundings outside! The walk in the forest visiting beavers’ habitat was breathtaking! The staff was very welcoming and spoke great English. In the room, there was a bag of herbs to make tea - loved it!

The breakfast was basic, but tasty. The value for money was not good, expected a more manor like experience. :) The staff was very kind and helpful. Liked the SPA experience. I liked also the surrounding - very nice and calm venue.

Tha the room was more like a basic hotel room, not a manor premises.

Very calm place. Nice views, good location for children. You can ride with boat free of charge.Nice pool and SPA treatments.Good breakfast.

Characterful hotel in a pleasant rural setting. Spa has a variety of options. Nice option of having an outdoor hot bath next to the lake (for an extra fee). Good quality food at dinner. Staff were very friendly.

Breakfast options could be more interesting. There was an annoying dripping noise in my room. I was not able to book a massage at my preferred time.

The staff was very nice, hospitable and polite. The dinner in the restaurant was very tasty. SPA is small, but there are anything you need. We were very satisfied with our stay there.

Great location, beautiful tiny manor with a small lake nearby. Great place for a short rest in nature with a bit extra of comfort.

Breakfast was not well organized, there were constant lack of products, queues at coffee machine, a total mess. Don't expect a big spa center, a swimming pool is tiny. Rooms are very small, and you can hear everything happening in other rooms or outside (I lived in a separate stone building, former stalls probably)

Wonderful location for a relaxing get-away. It is a former manor house and has a wonderful historic charm and has everything one needs for a short stay. I will definitely return to this accommodation if I happen to be in the area again.

For breakfast there was only white bread. Some rye bread or other gluten-free options would be nice.

Very nice manor house a bit outside of Madona. It is offering a very nice and quiet surrounding, good for relaxation. The rooms are well equipped and decorated and actually spacious. Furthermore, there are many common areas. The breakfast buffet was delicious and also the dinner at the on-site restaurant was very tasty.

The staff was very pushy in up-selling dinner and spa treatments. It is ok to actively offer them (and we had planned to eat dinner at the estate upon arrival), but I felt it was a tick too aggressive. We arrived at 6pm and just wanted to settle in after a long drive (and I gave my mum a helping hand carrying her luggage). Immediately we were asked whether and when we wanted to eat dinner and pressed to immediately decide on the timing (several times). The following day, staff was immediately asking us after breakfast what spa treatments we want to choose and again decide on the timing for dinner, despite they should have known we were leaving that day. Compared to the room, the private bathroom is very small (which is ok, just be aware of the fact).

The breakfast had very few choices for a vegetarian (only mediocre watermelon for fruit, not very ripe tomatoes for vegetable - and it's the peak of berry and fruit season!). The meat eaters reported that the eggs were very good and did not have any complaints. When I asked for dark rye bread it was brought out, but the next day it was not among the selections again (and no staff around to ask for it).

Breakfast (as a vegetarian). Since the economy rooms are small, it would have been nice to be pointed to a common area where one can play a board game with one's family or do some work on the computer. Our room didn't even have a chair or a mirror (the other room - we booked 2 - did have these items)

    Nature, clearness. Good herbs tea.

Breakfast- porridge was sweet, I expected dark famous Latvian bread.

Nice interior and nice staff. Helena was friendly and gave some suggestions for what to see in the nearby area. Ilze was happy to show and explain every feature of the spa facility. It had two hot saunas, cold pool, hot pool, salt room, steam chairs, outside jacuzzi. Spa cost 16eur for the first hour and 12eur for every next hour. Nice views, area well looked after. Tasty food in the restaurant. Cold draft beer was avaliable in the reception for 6eur. Will definitely return.

Manor in a beautiful natural location. Great place to enjoy peace and quaiet. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast is simple, but delicious. In the morning it was possible to swim in the spa. Regarding the visit to the spa, you must remember that you need to make an appointment in advance.
