Pros +
- An adequate room on the ground floor as requested. The Hotel du Lac next door has a comfortable terrace where one can wait for Reception to book you in and provide a key.
- Our hotel room was very correct for a two star hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Would have been nice to have a kettle or coffee machine, though staff was good enough to give us hot water. The dining at Le Lac was exceptional! The dining hall is very beautiful, looked like a Vienna waltz dance hall. It has a view of the sunset over the lake. The degustation menu was fantastic, I finished off with four kinds of cheese and five portions (small) desserts. The service was excellent!
- Reception and waiting staff were amazing.Shout out to our waiter at dinner who was exceptional (sorry didn't get his name !)
Cons -
- The Beau Site is the annex hotel to the one next door (Hotel du Lac) through whom Reception is run. They are not prepared for "early" arrivals.
