Pros +
- Location
- The room was clean and convenient for the racing as it was around 10 mins walking from it. Bathroom was good, bed was good. One of the women in reception was very kind.
- The hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. It has great breakfast, modern rooms, comfortable beds. Very close location to the track. And very friendly staff.
Cons -
- AC not working, unfriendly personnel, no wifi
- We had a horrible overall experience, the restaurant and its staff ruins the experience. There's nowhere else to eat in the town so you are stuck with them. The staff was extremely racist, extremely disrespectful and overall should simply not be employed. We had to formally complain to reception and they mentioned they were aware of the restaurant staff's (a young woman) behaviour. The woman in reception went above and beyond to make our experience decent. We stayed there for some nights and some of the days we chose not to eat in the whole day to not deal with the racism and disrespect. Other nights, the lady would simply not seat us because she "didn't feel like serving one more table". The food was bad and overpriced. About the hotel itself: no water in the room, we had to find some in the tracks because no water is offered. Tea/coffee offered in the room is not refilled throughout your stay, so if you had a long stay as we did, you have to somehow ration it. Phones don't work, wifi barely works (can't work or even browse social media). AC barely worked, and it was 38 degrees outside when we were there. Only stay here if you have to, otherwise find somewhere else, unless they rebrand and change these things and the resutaurant. All bad reviews have the same concerns, so hopefully they change it soon. Nothing to do in the area, at all, so if you are not here for the tracks/races, avoid this town.
- However, our experience in the hotel restaurant was quite frustrating. Unfortunately, none of the staff there seemed to speak or want to speak English – they only spoke French, which made ordering food very difficult. In an international hotel setting, this is quite inconvenient and, frankly, concerning. It’s hard to understand how someone working as a waiter in a hotel doesn’t speak basic English, especially when serving guests from all over the world.

Everything about the hotel was great – the rooms were clean and comfortable, the location was excellent, and the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful: friendly, helpful, and professional.

It is close to the race circuit where we were competing
We first stayed here in 2016 & again in 2023, every time it does get gradually worse. The room featured a ripped duvet cover, dodgy electrics and pervaded by flies as the windows had been left open in an attempt to make the room smell better. It didn’t work. Indeed there was a member of staff who smelt so badly I literally retched in the corridor after passing him.The staff in the restaurant were either hiding or were so new/untrained they couldn’t make even a gin & tonic or pour a beer. The small wine list was even smaller as none of the wines were in stock. The chef puts out the food for the buffet (no a la carte) but no one puts out the cutlery to serve it, so every meal you have to learn where to find the utensils. In fact by the end of our stay we were seemingly helping others more than the staff were…..In fairness to the Director Slyvie who was thrust into a customer facing role, she did her best even though she was absolutely lost - there were three staff at one point trying to work the till while the empty plates and detritus were piling up in the restaurant and drinks were going unserved. The hotel claimed to be fully booked but I suspect it is running at 50% occupancy as they have severe staff problems and can’t cope with any more guests. I wish them well as i don’t like giving bad reviews but I can’t see myself ever visiting them again even though i am returning to the track in 2025.
Excellent location and very modern clean rooms with very friendly staff, just a short walk to the paddock
Location, clean, bright,
Took gym stuff, no advance notice gym was being refurbished by hotel staff. This is why I paid a premium
Location to racing track.
Restaurant needs serious upgrade both in terms of food and furniture . Not what you would expect of a 4 star hotel.
Nice location close to track, rooms were of a good size and clean, reception staff were really friendly and helpful, pool area looked clean and a good size
No bar till 6pm and the bar staff were useless, they missed out on a lot of people spending a lot of money
Breakfast was good
Bar was badly staffed. Getting served was difficult. I had to get the hotel receptionist to find a member of staff
ParkingRoom sizeExcellent bathroomStaffDogs welcomeExcellent walking from the hotel
Limited menuNarrow walk through the bar to get to the restaurant.
Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. I traveled with my dog and staff was very helpful at the desk.I also had to leave earlier than expected and lady at the desk helped me big time and also gave me refund for day I will not use.
Staff at the bar/restaurant could be more friendly or helpful, not looking annoyed. Maybe I came on bad day.
Clean and modern
The theming, very masculine but to be expected given where it is located
we had a suite (only one left when booked), however it was an extremely pleasant surprise, lovely balcony, greta seating area, table to eat/ work at & lovely mezzanine bedroom & bathroom
the sofa was pretty uncomfortable! It's a sofa bed & it isn't level seating, it drops downhill & is very firm. The jacuzzi bath tub whilst a lovely idea is more noise than bubbles. A large group of us arrived at similar times so the staff were a little overwhelmed I think behind the bar. We were told before we arrived that restaurant wasn't open, but then it was Breakfast needs a bit of work. Again, a lot of people all looking to leave at similar time but scrambled eggs had run out & weren't replenished for a while. In this day & age, some decent natural yoghurt, seeds, nuts, oats etc available is fairly standard but it was pretty cheap nasty yoghurt, and only things like chocolate flakes, cornflakes etc available to add to it. No big selection of fruit either.
Proximity to the racing circuit. Quiet surroundings.
Restaurant was very average - limited menu, definitely no local ingredients, despite what the website promised. Staff seemed over-worked and a little stressed.
Not much
The room was hot and no fan available. The staff treated us as an inconvenience. No bar staff. Other staff had to fill in but it was unstaffed a lot of the time.
Restaurant food was good, good selection at breakfast.
The level of service from the staff was poor. For example being ignored at the bar, waititng too long for service in the restaurant. French speaking hotel residents were given priority in all areas of the hotel and jumped the queue at the bar and reception.
Comfortable hotel with restaurant that opened on a Sunday.Convenient for overnight stop just off N7
A little rambling.Limited choice of food and main course at dinner poor quality.
As motor racing fans, staying in this hotel was very pleasant although maybe not to everyone's taste. Room had a lovely motor racing theme to it and was very comfortable, the bar and restaurant were great, breakfast excellent. Staff were exceptionally friendly.
Apart from the loud and very rude American sitting next to us at dinner, absolutely nothing
Very good
The restaurant was a little expensive considering the quantities and overall quality of the food. The food was good, but the prices weren't aligned, in my opinion.
