    • We got a warm welcome on arrival at the chateau de Beauvois. The parking was free and next to the front door. The outdoors and ground floor rooms were stunning. Our bedroom and bathroom were outstanding. Gorgeously decorated comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We had a super tasty meal and enjoyed the plentiful cheese assortment. We would like to thank Mister Seghir and Miss Chloe for their very attentive table service. In the morning we had a plentiful breakfast also served in the beautiful dining room. Benoit waited on us with attention and skill.Thank you for your help and kindness Miss Kamilla.I think that I don t need to mention that we were so sad to leave this wonderful hotel-Chateau. We felt like royalty ! We hope to return for a few days stay in the futur. Just loved all of it.

    • Impressive property with traditional decor. Our room was spacious and clean. Had a nice meal in the restaurant and breakfast was good

    Cons -

    • Restaurant not open on the days that we stayed and bar closed at 8-20 pm.
    • Room was decent but looked better on the pictures
    • It was cold & they said they were not allowed to put the heating on - the write up said the suite had a king size bed but it was a double - the write up said there is a restaurant which was closed - the write up said there was an executive lounge which there wasn’t - the write up said there was a swimming pool - which was shut - do not bother staying here - there are far better places

Beautiful property grounds. Easy access to tourist areas. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.

Higher rooms accessed by stairs with worn carpets and no lighting. Wifi poor. Window screen needs repair.

The staff are delightful and always approachable and helpful. The dinner menu provides choices away from the standard offerings and the food is excellent. All meals are served in a character dining room.

    Nothing to criticize.

I loved the heated outdoor pool. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The receptionist was lovely. Our meal was superb and the waiter very helpful. And great value for the price compared to other châteaux.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Stunning property in a lovely location. The decor, paintings, furniture and fittings were all beautiful. The room was very quiet.

This might seem picky but… a 4 star Chateau with superb facilities, magnificent views, amazing staff, incredible dining room & bar should NOT have just 2 thin walled, single use paper cups in the room for tea & coffee!! Not even a spoon, just a few wooden sticks to stir your drink with. Basically, the facilities to make a drink in the room were the worst that I have ever experienced, in 24 countries across 4 continents, to be honest, it would have been better if they hadn’t even bothered to put anything in the room. Management responsible for this needs to attend a course on providing in room hospitality. The bathroom layout needs redesigning (room 15), the shower in the bath is awkward and difficult to use.

Breakfast was not up to expectations considering the cost per person for a hotel of this standard. Children were running around the buffet service area and getting in the way of guests carrying food. The evening dining experience was very pleasant as were the dining room staff and receptionists

China cups rather than the awful paper cups on the service trays in the rooms were not acceptable for a hotel of this quality. The glass tables in the lounge next to the bar were not cleaned with ring marks all over. There are cobwebs and curtain pelmets needing adjustments in the same room.

Set in a beautiful location and the chateau is stunning. Unfortunately there was no hot water during our stay, for which the staff were extremely apologetic about, however as the weather was rather warm then we made do with a cold shower. The swimming pool was refreshing with good changing and shower facilities and a bar open until 6pm. We played tennis during our stay which was free to use. We would have liked to have dinner at the restaurant as it was a beautifully decorated room, however we found the menu quite limited. We would definitely stay at the chateau again as it was not far to drive to Tours or to one of our favourite golf courses in the area.

A wider choice of menu would have definitely encouraged us to eat in the restaurant each evening.

A special property, you feel you have gone back in time. Good sized bedroom. Comfy bed and good shower. Lovely view from the window. Good breakfast and dinner was excellent. Attentive staff.

I was disappointed with the pool area as it did not match the listed photographs. The loungers did not have cushions which made them rather hard, there were no round beds and the comfy chairs around the bar area had been replaced with cheap plastic white chairs.

The hotel and location were wonderful. The terrace was superb for supper. The evening meal was excellent and equally important - really good value.

V little. The room was at the top of the house very warm- it really needs ac to make it comfortable. I suspect lower rooms are better. There is a super walk around the Chateau so great if you've got a dog with you.All in all, it is definitely a place to return to.

During our trip from Paris to the Loire Valley Chateaux, we had a pleasant stay at this charming place with our family of three (two adults and one child). While the rooms are a bit outdated, they were clean and comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the view of the park and the beautiful architecture of the chateau. It was quite warm during our visit, so we slept with the windows open to catch a breeze. In the middle of the night, I woke up to the sound of frogs in the pond across the road — a new and delightful experience that made me feel truly immersed in nature.

the rooms are outdated, bathrooms need some refreshment.

Beautiful chateau - lovely dinner on the terrace.

It wasn’t that hot when we were there but suspect it would be pretty warm when it is as no air con

Very nice personnel, good breakfast with the view to the beautiful park. Couldn’t try the restaurant as it was fully booked. Nice pool and view from the window. Nicely decorated hall and bar with imitation of antique furniture sometimes frankly plastic imitations but it gives nice image overall or pictures. In general nice experience.

In the room there was old smell, quiet dated carpet, no bath robes, toilet flush was broken. Need some small renewing. But I enjoyed the stay anyway.

Spectacular chateau in a wonderful location

The rooms are fairly basic - no aircon which would have helped in 34 degrees

    8CaitlinPosted on: 8-11-2024

We loved the chateau! The suite was large and comfortable with a nice bathroom. We enjoyed the amenities (pool and tennis courts), and the breakfast each morning. We wish we’d had even more time to stay and explore!

The screen in one of our rooms had holes in it, so we couldn’t leave the window open because of the bugs, which was unfortunate as it was hot. The tennis equipment could use a little updating, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Nice pool area and convenient to have a restaurant within the chateau.

    Lack of air conditioning
