    Pros +

    • Very friendly helpful staff. Quiet. Lovely for lakeside walks and still right next to shops and restaurants. Shared fridge and kettle available in the restaurant area.
    • Fantastic service from staff
    • The service was astonishing: nice and helpful always. The atmosphere surrounded by bikes is amazing, the terraces are nice and quite to chill or eat.

    Cons -

    • Very annoying motion-detecting light outside the bedroom. Be aware that the spa facilities cost €10 per person per 50 minutes and bookings fill up fast in the evenings! Closes at 5pm on Sundays! So don't expect a 15 mn jacuzzi or sauna every day.Kitchen is open for lunch and dinner local hours 13:30-16:00 and 20:30-00:00 respectively. Our 'suite' was a twin room with a sink and a sofa. Part of a 2-bedroom shared bathroom setup with the 2nd bedroom locked.View was more a lawn than mountains.
    • Room was a bit hot, but just opened the window Sn that fixed it
    • We had separate beds for a couple... Not a problem. The pillows were uncomfortable, the lighting could be better and the ventilator for August is not enough if it's a hot day/night.

Nice place to stay if you are a mountain/sport enthusiast. A lot of facilities also for events (dedicated meeting room) and storage for equipment.

The rooms seemed a little too 'spartan' for the price

Everything was lovely, just that the rooms have the fragrance spray that sprays every few minutes and we had to stop them all. One of the rooms in our ' apartment ' was supposed to be closed, but they have left it open and when we entered it smelled of humidity and a bit like an old mouldy building. Maybe just because it was closed for awhile. But it would explain the fragrance sprays everywhere. Other then that it was all good.

Very friendly staff, providing useful information for hiking, biking, and exploring the beautiful area! The room/apartment was very clean, comfortable and included a bathroom, a sink, a refrigerator and a ceiling fan. The hotel location is perfect, on the edge of the charming small town, close to trails and the reservoir. The lobby provides a tea kettle, coffee maker, and breakfast. The lodge also provides lovely outside areas including patios and a beautiful grassy back yard with beautiful views of nature. The lodge includes lots of other amenities such as bike rentals, a gym, a sauna and hot pool, and a massage room.

The room would be too hot for me in the summer as there is no air conditioning, but it was perfectly comfortable in May with a good sized window and a ceiling fan!

arriving in October meant a lot of facilities were not open (eg the restaurant was shut mid-week).

We stayed there on a cycling trip in the Sierra Guadarrama it is perfectly situated for all the mountain climbs, it is cycling centric and the staff were wonderful particularly Gloria and Laura the cook who looked after us and helped translate.

    10DwinettaPosted on: 8-30-2021

The staff are amazing! Gloria and Alberto were attentive and super accommodating! They also have a great view of the lake from the garden and our room! I also love that they have the Sustainable development goals printed around the hotel, I love that they are environmentally aware.

I liked everything, I'll def be back!

Beautiful location, near to bars and restaurants, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely food.

The only small thing was that the rooms were a little warm, and the window opened over the bed which made it tricky to leave the window open at night.

We really enjoyed the stay. Just an hour from Madrid, this modern hotel, offers an incredible cyclist oriented ambience. Everyone from the owners to Andres at the cafeteria give their 150% to make sure you have a nice experience. They organize group rides, have different events not only for cycling but for other sports as well. They have a spa and a physiotherapist in case you need it after the rides. Food is also good. They have a queso de cabra pizza to die for! Although some people mentioned in their reviews that the hotel don’t offer daily room cleaning, it really didn’t bother us, because I am used to make my own bed :) and they change towels daily, so making my own bed for a day is not much trouble.

Very clean and nice building with exceptionally helpful staff. My room was great (could hear the running water of a creek and other nature. Nice breakfast (costs 4 euros). Great area for biking :)

Not the most comfortable beds (pretty springy) and I could hear some noise from the dining area in my room, but otherwise there were no issues.

Amazing facilities, including the gym, spa/sauna and restaurant.

    10MarkPosted on: 12-21-2020

Nothing but good words to say about this place: great location for bike/hiking, great vibe if you're into cycling, and friendly staff. The facilities for storing/cleaning/servicing bikes were excellent. Hottub (all Covid friendly) after our hike was well needed. We will be back.

    8AudreyPosted on: 11-19-2020

The ciclolodge is very nice, the rooms are simple and you get what you need. The breakfast is very nice. Very friendly host.

You could add additional "comfort" for example shampoo in the shower. The price for the night is a bit high for Spain in general but there is not many options around the area.
