    Pros +

    • I had the pleasure of staying at a surprisingly comfortable hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The atmosphere there was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostess was truly exceptional—accommodating, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She went out of her way to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. The breakfasts she prepared were absolutely delightful, with a variety of options that were both fresh and delicious. Her teas were equally impressive, prepared with care and presented beautifully.
    • The food in grill bar was amazing. Very friendly stuff.
    • We chose this hotel because it was conveniently located along our route, and the location indeed proved to be very handy. The large parking area was a definite plus, making it easy to access and park our car. Upon arrival, we found that the room was quite small, so much so that we had to squeeze past the bed sideways. Unfortunately, we also discovered that one of the bed slats was broken. The host quickly came to check it and called her husband to fix the bed. They kindly offered us two glasses of beer on the restaurant terrace while we waited. Within an hour, the bed was repaired, and the rest of the evening went smoothly.

    Cons -

    • No small fridge to put some food and drinks in. It was very hot as they do not have a ventilation.
    • The room itself was basic and not very well designed, but it was tolerable for a one-night stay. We were informed in advance that the hot water came from a neighboring building, so it would take a little time for it to start flowing. What we were not prepared for was that in the morning, after lathering our hair with shampoo, the hot water suddenly ran out, and we were left with an icy cold shower. It was an unexpectedly invigorating start to the day!The biggest disappointment, however, was the breakfast, for which we paid 16 euros for the two of us. Breakfast consisted of coffee from a machine, lemon water, and an omelet with a vegetable salad (the only alternative was sweet pancakes). The salad was dressed with an incredibly spicy sauce, and the small piece of focaccia was drenched in garlic oil. There was no regular bread, just the garlic-soaked focaccia. When we asked if there was any chance of getting a croissant with our coffee, we were told that croissants were in Italy ?.Overall, while the location and parking were convenient, the room size, water issues, and breakfast experience left much to be desired. We hope that, over time, the owners will pay more attention to details and guest comfort, as the place has good potential.
    • No WiFi and no TV. It is very close to the main road but there wasn’t too much noise from the traffic.

Stylish, nordic design throughout. Really friendly owners. We enjoyed an excellent meal on the terrace.

No WiFi and no TV. It is very close to the main road but there wasn’t too much noise from the traffic.

Friendly staff, cosy atmosphere. Clean room. Beach is not far, just 5 minutes by car. Tasty breakfast.

Small shower head, poor water pressure, very firm mattress, no air conditioner.

Excellent restaurant with greatest steak in Latvia. After quiet night in naturally dark area with no city lights lighting up the sky, the breakfast was excellent too. Likely will come back there!

great people and service minded. very acommodating for my questions and needs.

unnessecary paper work when we arrived. pen and paper…weak breakfast (one small dish for 8 euro) service took too long. not enough coffee. should get a coffee maschine for black filter coffee

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable with crisp white bed linen. The shower was great, too. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and both were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Small cozy and clean room. Nice interior and restaurant.

There was a single roof window in the room.
