- Won't - ever - go back
- Everything was great. The owner was fabulous, very helpful.
- Confortable bed and big room.
Cons -
- Room minute! Poor linen on bed, towels that smelt. Attempts to call a night manager to attend to issues failed completely. Issues such as leaking bath etc etc not even attended to the day after drawing it to their attention. We stayed in similar accommodation in Avignon a few days earlier and incomparable. Logis was poor
- The public transport is very close by but stops at 7.50pm. The walk back is 3km and up very steep hills. The hotel restaurant was also unfortunately closed and we did just know until we arrived so changed our plans.
- The swimming pool required attention with cleaning insects.

Confortable bed and big room.
The swimming pool required attention with cleaning insects.
Loved the pool after hot summer days exploring m, it was great to relax in the pool. There is also a supermarket a short walk away, a nice restaurant ‘La Tonnelle’ on the property and others within short walking distance.
Great pool that we had to ourselves for an afternoon. Delicious restaurant that was reasonably priced. Very friendly staff. Relaxing and quiet.
Once we figured out the bus lines it was easy enough to get into Avignon within 20 min otherwise it's about a 45 min walk through a nice neighborhood before hitting the first bridge into the city.
It is in a lovely location, the rooms are clean the pool was fabulous after walking the city on a hot day. The restaurant was ok, expensive.
There isn’t much not to like but like most places in France the pillows need replacing.
Poor room facilities & dishonest customer service (payment taken despite offering to waive cost).
We booked for two nights and checked-in late on the first night. Once in bed we realised that the air conditioning didn’t work. We were travelling with two young children (5 years and a new-born) and endured a very uncomfortable night in the August heat. We advised reception in the morning and the resolution was to move rooms. We lost half a day of our holiday because we were told we had to wait at the hotel while the new room was cleaned rather than allowing us to move our belongings later in the day. In the evening we couldn’t wash because the new room had no hot water; which was checked by the reception staff who then told us that other rooms had also complained and it couldn’t be fixed until the morning (when we were checking-out). On check-out, we expressed our disappointment that our accommodation was not as advertised. As compensation, we proposed that it was unreasonable to pay all of the remaining balance. The Manager was very rude and showed no empathy for the issues that we experienced but aggressively told us not to pay if we didn’t want to. We considered the matter resolved and left (without paying). The hotel subsequently charged my credit card in full the day after we left and have since denied offering the compensation.
Fourth time staying here and always a pleasure. Hidden away from the street, swimming pool, great breakfast and the staff is professional and welcoming.
Nice courtyard. Clean rooms. Lovely staff. Secure parking. Absolutely fantastic restaurant which thankfully was open for our second night. Breakfast room not part of the restaurant but was pretty good. There is a short cut into Avignon for anyone wanting to walk. Take the hill road down just before the roundabout. Cuts off a chunk of the busy main road.
Hotel pool was partially closed but not advertised as such. We did manage a swim but lots of leaves and dead insects on top. The hotel is old and showing its age. Tired decor and no sound proofing. No mosquito netting which was a real downside as like to sleep with window open. Single bottle of complimentary water was a little mean for 2 people over 2 nights.Still enjoyable spot and would stay again.
Hotel room is ok, bathroom fine, staff very helpful. Parking has become an issue. Have had to park way outside twice.
Loved the outside areas: pool, breakfast and dining. Also, their check-in times allow you to really make use of the pool, makes you feel welcome, not just somebody who pays, sleeps and should then leave as soon as possible. Great privately run hotel with friendly service.
Nothing... I read some negative comments about paper cups at the room or the age of the hair dryer - seriously??? That seems out of place.
The restaurant was amazing. Mum and I liked the 3 course dinner for 22 Euro each for hotel residents. The other thing is they had a jig in the room for making cups of tea and coffee. Especially good when returning or having a midday break.
Everything Ok. Just surprised to have paper cup instead of real cups in the room to drink our tea... ?
the old coffee system should be changed by another modern caps machine !
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good, pool is clean. I spend a very nice time with 2 little kids there. Definitely will come back again as a one day getaway from Avignon.
A bit of dust here and there in the room. Place feels a little old fashioned but it’s not a big deal with the pricing.
