Pros +
- There were only two things I truly liked. First, the women working at the reception and in the restaurant — they were incredibly kind and pleasant. Truly wonderful staff. Second, I liked the relatively affordable price compared to other hotels in the area.
- Excellent location and mountain/river views
- Great location and room overlooking the river and mountains. Good choice at breakfast.Especially the staff who went out of their way to make our anniversary treat very special
Cons -
- It is impossible to sleep in this hotel. The soundproofing is extremely poor. There was constant noise from slamming doors, people talking, and the elevator moving. All night long you can hear these sounds, and the door banging is unbelievable. Even if you fall asleep, you will wake up dozens of times. Sleeping in this hotel is simply impossible.Because of this, we left two days earlier than planned, as we were completely exhausted from not getting enough sleep. The furniture is very old and in poor condition. The bathrooms are bad as well — the bathroom tiles were cracked, and yellow water was coming from the tap. I honestly felt uncomfortable bathing my children there. The balcony door is very hard to open because everything is old and worn out. Overall, the hotel feels extremely outdated. The breakfast was very poor. There were no hot breakfast options at all — no omelet, no warm oatmeal, nothing. Only cold food. Even the tortilla was cold and dry. We basically survived on that single tortilla, pouring sauce over it just to be able to eat something. The hotel is located right next to the road, so you can hear constant traffic noise. There is also no private parking. We arrived late at night and had to park very far away because all nearby street parking was full, and we had to walk a long distance to the hotel.I will not return to this hotel. It might be suitable for students with a very limited budget who are willing not to sleep — or to sleep with earplugs. Because without earplugs, sleeping here is impossible.

Great location and room overlooking the river and mountains. Good choice at breakfast.Especially the staff who went out of their way to make our anniversary treat very special
No hair dryer in room
I have stayed many times before and enjoyed it very much the staff are very helpful and gave me on my booking my favourite room
Don't know if anything at all it would be a lack of any thing cooked for breakfast on continental style avaulable
Breakfast was really good. The location of the hotel is fine, and met the expectations.
The room was a little bit cold, and there was a noise during the whole night...The bathroom was not really comfortable, and together with the cold room, it was not comfortable at all.
Wonderful positioned hotel right alongside the river. Very helpful hotel owner and staff and a brilliant but sensibly priced dinner menu. Lovely and generous breakfast. We look forward to a return visit in the future because this was just an overnight on our route to Spain.
Nothing !!
This place is amazing! The people are so lovely and kind, the views from the hotel are amazing, the beds comfortable, the shower great pressure and warm and the decor has been well thought out for an older hotel. Also the food in the restaurant is delicious we had breakfast and the set menu dinner which is excellent value for money in terms of quality of food and portion sizes.we were able to park our two motorcycles right outside the front of the hotel and in site of our room and felt very comfortable leaving them there.Everything about this hotel is done with love and care.We have been travelling for over 10 months and this is one of our best places to stay.Choose this hotel!
very clean, friendly staff, comfy rooms. lovely town.
So convenient , clean , great value for money. The ladies are so sweet and helpful Always a pleasure going there.
Nice location, alongside Garonne, in the middle of the small town. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Nice restaurant. No private parking but enough parking spots on the street.
?
First of all, the staff is super nice and welcoming (French is a bonus since everyone in this town seem to speak it). While the front of the building faces the street, the window is viewing the river which is right below! When you enter the room you hear *the stream of water*, and that's the sound you hear at night. We cannot describe how powerful it is. Besides, the room smells of cleanliness, and there's even a charm to the old decoration. We loved it and wished we could have stayed longer!
simple, clean, well located for lots of hiking in the area
We had a lovely view from our room and balcony onto the fast flowing river and the mountains behind. Friendly host and overall good value. We had no problem parking.
We had no issue with this at all, but please be aware that the river rapids just outside the hotel have a lot of power and do make a noise.
Great Riverside view from room. Generous breakfast. Helpful staff - especially accommodating our bikes in a locked garage.
Limited parking - could be challenging in busy times
We had a room with a view to the river, mountains, and city. The sound of the river passing thru was amazing. The staff was also super friendly.
It seems I made a reservation for one person, although in a double bed. I had to pay an extra to my wife then, but it was worthy in the end.
A traditional Spanish hotel with restaurant, bar and TV lounge and lift to upper floors. Good-sized room for 2, with ensuite bathroom – including a bath and over-bath shower. The staff everywhere were very attentive and could not do more to help: at breakfast we were offered feed or scrambled eggs in addition to the good cold buffet (tea/coffee; water/orange juice; pastries; cold meats/cheeses; hard boiled eggs etc), and at dinner the lady chef came to check everything was OK for us, and came back later to discuss cooking! We ate in the restaurant in the evening and took the excellent 20€ menu, which had a choice of items and provided very good quality food and very good value for money.Staff speak Spanish (!), French and some English.
We could not fault a thing.
Great location and position overlooking the river. the owners where so kind and helpful . hotel very convenient to walk to the shops and restaurants.Would definitely stay again .
Breakfast choices were good. There were some nice dishes on the dinner menu. Staff were friendly.
There was nothing I didnt like.
The bed wasn't big but really comfy. And the sound of the river was really calming. Another good thing was that we had the parking spot just in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. The staff is really kind and helpful, so whatever you need, just ask them. I'm not sure if they speak English but for sure Spanish, Catalan and French.
The rooms and the bathroom could be renovated.
The view from our room and the extremely comfortable mattress
