About

Nestled in the beautiful Reutte Nature Park region, the lovingly managed Hotel Krone Tirol in Lechaschau welcomes you – surrounded by mountains, lakes, and an impressive natural landscape that delights in every season. It is a place where genuine hospitality, a personal atmosphere, and a deep love for the region can truly be felt. Here, it’s not just about staying overnight, but about arriving, breathing deeply, and feeling at home. After an active day in the mountains, our small sauna and steam bath invite you to relax and unwind. Complimentary Wi-Fi is, of course, available throughout the hotel. Our rooms are bright, cozy, and thoughtfully designed – a retreat that offers peace while also providing a sense of comfort and security. The area around the Krone is a paradise for nature and mountain lovers. In summer, the Hahnenkamm reveals itself as a wonderful hiking area with breathtaking views, gentle alpine pastures, and many welcoming huts that invite you to stop, enjoy, and linger. Crystal-clear bathing lakes such as Frauensee and Plansee provide refreshing moments amid a stunning mountain backdrop. A true highlight is the Ehrenberg Castle Ensemble – an impressive combination of history, nature, and architecture. The spectacular Highline 179 promises goosebump moments, while the lovingly restored fortifications invite exploration. The crowning glory is the Schlosskopf, with its unique panoramic view across the entire Reutte Nature Park region – a place that will remain long in your memory. Hikers, cyclists, and nature enthusiasts will find countless opportunities throughout the Lech Valley – from gentle walks along the River Lech to more challenging mountain tours with sweeping views and a deep connection to nature. In winter, the region enchants with small, charming ski areas around the Hahnenkamm Reutte – ideal for families, leisure skiers, and anyone seeking skiing pleasure without the hustle and bustle. World-famous excursion destinations such as the royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, Linderhof, the Zugspitze or Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Ettal Monastery, and the baroque Wieskirche are all within easy reach, making your stay especially varied. The historic Via Claudia Augusta runs directly past the hotel – one of Europe’s most beautiful bike routes, connecting Germany with Italy, perfect for leisure cyclists and explorers. A special bonus is the Aktiv Card, which you automatically receive during your stay. It offers numerous benefits in the region, including 50% discount at the Alpentherme Ehrenberg, as well as many other advantages throughout the Reutte Nature Park region. Hotel Krone Tirol is a place for all who seek nature, warmth, and genuine Tyrolean joie de viver – honest, personal, and full of heart 💛

Fantastic staff - so friendly and helpful! The dinner menu was really nice and great value for a 4 course meal. Breakfast options were also very nice! We highly recommend this hotel because of the staff and charm of the facilities!

The location and the room. The location - it is so central to all the attractions. We find everything we want or need. So many supermarkets and shops nearby. The surroundings are very beautiful and we can have lovely walks by the Lech river which is just 5 minutes away. The town center is 15 minutes by foot. For my mom who mostly eat only Asia food, there's two Asian restaurants to choose from. There's also ice cream shops in the town. Everything is just very convinient. There's also a Drogeriemarkt nearby. Plansee is just 10-15 minutes drive away. The room - it is lovely decorated and spacious. We stayed as a family of four. The cleanliness is astounding! Our kids could crawl, roll, play Legos and lie down on the floor without any dirt stick on us. We stayed in a family room with a double decker bed for the boys. It's so lovely that it's placed in a separate room while the kids have access to us easily. The balcony view is wonderful.

The hotel chef and his wife own this wonderful hotel where we stayed two nights in three rooms. We had dinner in the dining room both nights and really enjoyed the food and drink. The buffet breakfast was very good! Our rooms were large and comfortable. The dining room terrace was lovely. The owners gave us good information and directions for our activities and their staff were friendly and professional.

    No negatives.

The breakfast had a good variety. The room was clean and nice. The dinner option was reasonably priced and plentiful (though nothing special, which was expected given the price, and rather slow service).

I wish they had decaf coffee, but that is my one pet peeve with European hotels. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee ourselves, especially since everything seems to close early. The bathroom, though clean, was very small.

    Super nice staff, adorable decor

Would have preferred a much lighter blanket on the bed for the warm weather

    9AleksandrPosted on: 6-25-2024

Breakfast is not a lot of options but everything you need and the food is great. Views are fantastic! The staff is super helpful and friendly. Very good sauna. they also provide local activity card that provides discounts to a lot of local activities. Overall, amazing hotel, highly recommend it!

There is no fridge in the room (at least the one we stayed).

Warm vibes - stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Breakfast in the AM was a great way to start the day. Staff was friendly, provided guidance for activities when we inquired. Another thing we loved was the heritage and charm everywhere on the grounds and within the building. Certainly would stay again - this time for longer - we only stayed 2 nights.

Unfortunately television wouldn’t connect to Netflix… but not a major concern - spent most our time exploring/hiking.

The hotel is exceptionally decorated, all tiny details and superb hospitality of the team make the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the dinner was very tasty. Plenty of parking place, chargers for electric cars are available. The sauna is available by request without extra charge.

    Everything was great!

The hotel has its own restaurant with great menus which we recommend.

The hotel adverted a fitness which was unfortunately not working when we arrived which I find confusing because it was one of our decision reasons for this hotel.

Beautiful accommodation with professional and friendly staff. Room was spacious and clean. Excellent kitchen and lavish breakfast. The request to pre-register was very time efficient.

    No downside

Very nice room & evening meal

There wasn’t much amenities around the hotel as far as restaurants x

    7SusannahPosted on: 8-16-2023

Cute boutique hotel with lots of decorative details, good breakfast, beautiful nature around

Probably because of the weather, heaps of flies in the hotel restaurant (both outdoor and indoor seatings) during dinner time - very disturbing

    8FafarPosted on: 8-14-2023

The proprietors are very friendly and very helpful.

I cannot think of anything. We have stayed at this hotel well over 10 years, a few days each time, and know quite what to expect.

Big, clean room, good food and friendly staff.

Not all staff speaks beginner level English, but with our little knowledge of German we managed thru.
