Cons -
- No elevator… glad I did not need one.Shower had sharp corners and no grab bars.
- the cups in the room were dirty, which I found quite disrespectful. Also, there were no power outlets near the bed — we could only find one under the desk, so we had to unplug the lamp to charge our phones. It’s not very practical when you have two devices to charge.
- Steep climb from harbour, no common sitting area

Wonderful view! Great location! Excellent breakfast. Friendly and warm staff. Agnes was SO nice!!
Good, quiet location atop the harbor, a few minutes walk to downtown. Sparsely available staff. No parking at the hotel, but available in the area. Comfy bed.
Breakfast, view, near centre and ferry, quiet, good sized well-lit shower and bathroom, openable windows, hotel door locked with code access
Steep climb from harbour, no common sitting area
The location was superb for us & the view just what we hoped. The steep climb up the roads would not be ideal for everyone & we were glad to hire electric bikes for our stay...it helped getting back to the hotel after an evening in town. The staff were super helpful & positive. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is very clean & comfortable. Thank you.
The rooms are a little small ...but super clean & decorated well. Attention to health & safety was also noted to be good. Access may be a problem for some people.
What an excellent find! A Simple family run hotel with a really superb view and relaxed staff and atmosphere. The breakfast was also mostly organic or local. We had 1st floor sea view rooms.
Slightly high price for the breakfast which was fairly simple but then, effort had been made to ensure it was organic.
The only thing that would have improved the stay would have been a shuttle service from the boat. Lugging our suitcases up the hill was horrible
View, breakfast
Room was too small for 4 people
Breakfast good. Location good.
Finding hotel. Some directions from the ferry terminal would have been useful. A lift in the hotel would help.
The rooms are so nice and cozy. We chose an ocean view at it was just magical. The staff is also very nice. Breakfasts was delicious !
clean and excellent decor. good breakfast.
very satisfactory
The room with a view to the port was charming. On the first floor with a large window to watch the ferries, fishing boats and yachtsmoving around. The breakfast room was large and airy with lots of choice including boiled eggs!
An outside sitting area in the courtyard/garden would have been nice. Apart from the breakfast room there is no where in the hotel to relax outside of your room. There is no signage at the port when you arrive off the ferry to direct you to the hotel up on the ramparts. The location is not suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
Everything except viewexelent breakfastGreat staff friendly and helpfull
Great location, comfortable bed and a lovely breakfast.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
the location was great, very close to the ferry port and to town. the family bedroom was nicely decorated and perfect for a family of 3 plus a baby. the breakfast was fantastic in a tranquil room.
there was sand all over the bedsheet when we arrived- which were changed when we asked to. no kettle in the room- would have been nice!
A very comfortable room with a view overlooking the port of Le Palais. Beautifully decorated through out the hotel. Modern shower room. In a quiet location. An exceptional breakfast, with mainly organic , local produce. Plenty of variety each day. The staff were helpful and friendly. 10 minute walk to port and all commerces. Restaurants and bars all within walking distance.
Situated on the top of a hill which makes it more difficult if, like me you have mobility problems. However the views made up for it and it was good exercise for me!! Absolutely no problem for younger, fitter people!!
Simple but comfortable room with wonderful view of the little harbour at Le Palais. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is great, one of the best ever in France.
Nice to have a seating area on the ground floor. Also, it would be good to have cold water available when breakfast room is locked.
Nicely located with beautiful port view. nice and clean room. staff is very nice also. the breakfast was delicious, fresh and for everyone’s taste. i will definitely go back ?
nothing, everything was perfect
great location, near to the port central town but on the calm side so just perfect!the room is small but well set up front desk lady is helpful and friendly
if I have to, the only thing is that the towels were not changed for the second day (the room is well cleaned btw) maybe we should have asked for it specifically. but that’s fine, we didn’t report it to the front desk because we only stayed for 2 nights.
