Cons -
- I really had wanted a quiet room. I think the room was probably as quiet as one might get at the Hotel Atlantique. But there is major construction next door all daytime long, even on Saturdays. And on weekend nights the bars down the street are really loud. Even with the windows shut, the room required earplugs.
- No kettle in the room, to make tea!
- No elevator to get to the 3rd level in narrow stairway. No help provided either to bring the luggages up to the room.The 3 people bedroom was too small for 3 people.Cleaning was done but it wasn’t meticulous. Bathroom was still wet on the floor and could still see hairs from our previous showers and brushing. Main problem was the toilet. It wouldn’t fully fill up with water so anytime you’d flush, the rate was too weak so it wasn’t flushing properly. We let treception know on first and second day but nothing got fixed. Only fix we managed to find was removing the top porcelain and fill up to the top with the shower head. Noisy at night due to all the bars around and during the day because of the ferries honking in the harbour.
