The hotel is situated in the heart of a lovely market town. There is a park next to it - great for walking the dog. There is also a good playground for children there. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was clean and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

Excellent accomodation in a lovely town, the staff were very friendly & the breakfast had a large variety of food to choose from, we had the evening meal of the day & it was delicious & good value..

The restaurant part of the property is great and the food was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Good car park and location. Very good food at reasonable price. Attentive service. Excellent shower and modern bathroom

Bathroom lacked space to put sponge bags etc down. Appeared to be no lounge or bar. Dining room was a bit Spartan for a logis.

Superb hotel with beautiful food, lovely atmosphere, immaculate, dog friendly and a lovely park behind the hotel for the dogs to have a walk. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I love this place and we will return.

Nothing .. it was all superb but we would have perhaps enjoyed longer to eat our meal ... The service was super fast and efficient and sometimes we were talking so much that we needed extra time, but we equally understand that they are running a business and they are probably berated if they are not responsive enough.

The location is fine, about 10 miles from Alencon. The bed was comfortable although there was scant cover for a cold night. The lady on duty in the breakfast room was very pleasant and helpful. There is ample parking at the rear of the hotel, with access through a gate to the left hand side. The breakfast was adequate, if a little uninspiring for the amount charged.

The attitude of the desk staff. I had lost my mobile telephone on the way to the hotel, so I asked if I could use their phone to phone my family in England. The person on the reception desk seemed very unsympathetic and said that it was impossible. The room was cold when we arrived, Most hotels ensure that the room is warm for when guests arrive. The WiFi did not work in the bedroom, another irritant.

    Perfect location and ample parking

Other than waiting a long time for evening dinner especially the young ones every thing else was good

    Location, easy parking, restaurant

    Very small rooms and showers

Good location for overnight stop on way to Dordogne

The en-suite bathroom was poor. Old avocado coloured suite, shower head was dirty and there was mould on the tile grouting. Bedroom was very basic.

Good restaurant, good parking, friendly staff

Creaky beds in the family room, breakfast not served until 8.30am is too late for travellers.

The whole stay was faultless and I can't understand why this is only a 2 star rating. The food was fabulous, everything was clean, staff were excellent.Really pleasant stop over on our journey.

Convenient location. Inexpensive. Good restaurant but see below.

Hotel infrastructure showing its age. Quite a lot of noise from movement in neighbouring rooms. Restaurant good but limited menu and no vegetarian options. They did, however, accommodate us with a bespoke vegetarian omelette for one of our party.

Very helpful, attentive staff and the food was good. The hotel is quiet even though it is on the main square of this pretty market town.

    9NielsPosted on: 9-5-2022

The location is good, right in the middle of the town. It has a large (free) parking area in front of the hotel which happily included two electric car chargers, as we were running very low on arrival! The staff/owner was super friendly and welcoming, even when dealing with us two terrible french speakers! The dinner menu was OUTSTANDING.

Breakfast was okay, the croissants were not fresh and a bit small, one pain-au-chocolat had clearly been reheated a number of times. The selection was excellent though, but it felt a bit like the cost saving had been given too much attention. The sofabed in the room was not that comfortable. The WiFi, although perfectly functional and free, was accessed only by a ticket per device which seemed a bit stingy.

    9PaulPosted on: 8-22-2022

Staff, breakfast, dinner, all spot on?

    8ClairePosted on: 8-21-2022

Very friendly staff, off street parking, centrally located in town.

Bathroom a bit dated but understand that it will be upgraded soon.
