I was travelling Valencia to Zaragoza and Hotel Restaurant el Horno was well placed en route. In the heart of the historic village and I enjoyed the lively bar/restaurant. I only had a room on my mind but the bar and restaurant were terrific and recommended, and the food of an excellent standard.
It was not a big issue but arriving in the dark meant a little extra navigation but worth it. On street parking at the nearby church (1 min) was available.
Staff friendly and helpful. Food servings were large. Located in town centre.
There was nowhere to park.
Friendliness of the staff, only one could speak a little English , better than my poor Spanish, bed room was big enough, nice little village, I found two more bars.
I knew there was no aircon, but they couldn't give me a simple fan. So needless to say, my sleep was very poor.
The staff where very friendly, accommodation was clean. We were cycling Camino del Cid so only needed the room for the night as we were only passing through the village. Evening meal was nice and we could choose what we wanted for breakfast no particular menu, they made what we asked for. Worth the money.
TV was a bit noisey below our room I think it was from the bar below
Great value, small but nice room for a low price. Good food in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Close to the Via Verde. This was our third stay.
A pleasant village inn. Good dinner right at the hotel.
Due to the narrow streets in the village, access by car is quite difficult
Very welcoming staff on a bitterly cold day on the Camino del Cid. Restaurant provided good quality food for lunch, dinner and breakfast. Room was spacious, clean and warm.
The staff were very friendly and helpful
Poor lighting on stairs Loose handrail on stairs Uncomfortable bedsRoom above noisy barNo breakfast Hotel surrounded by rundown buildings
ideal for our one night cycle tour stop over. the owner let us put our bikes in the garage. couple of small bars in a beautiful little Spanish town. we had a few drinks at the hotel bar and a meal, which was delightful.
no air conditioning in the rooms?
I was traveling on a motorbike and advised on late night arrival. They kept kitchen open until I was well fed . They locked the motorcycle in a secure lockup out of the rain .Bedroom was spotlessly clean , bed was super comfy.
A traditional small guest house that has been tastefully modernised. Good for cyclists doing the Camino del Cid - owners kindly locked our bikes in a garage overnight. Dinner is served in the restaurant until late - good variety of traditional dishes available. Very little English spoken but everyone was welcoming.
Breakfast was very limited indeed. We would have liked more, and would have been prepared to pay for a decent breakfast. The walls of the rooms are rather thin - we could hear quite a bit from the next door room.
VERY VERY BAD
hotel was empty we were the only people there we had to ring for someone to come and open up and give us the keys to hotel could not get any heat, the bedroom next to ours which was empty but the tv was left on all night with music playing breakfast was a coffee and a piece of cake we had a number to ring but was no good could not speak any English .in the uk i would have refused TO PAY but ours is taken out of our bankDIST
Very traditional very Spanish
