Cons -
- The room was noisy. There is was a door between our room and the next one which didn’t stop any noise. We could hear the conversations and everything the other guests were doing…
- We were in much smaller rooms than the year before which was a bit of a disappointment but I know now to ask for the rooms I want next time.

Beautiful locationExcellent foodFriendly helpful staff
I rebooked the hotel a year after staying there. Great service, location and garage parking for motorcycles. Wonderfully quirky building and very friendly staff.
We were in much smaller rooms than the year before which was a bit of a disappointment but I know now to ask for the rooms I want next time.
My room (but noth the one of my colleague) was much bigger than expected and nicely furnished. The whole intérieur of the restaurant, bar and swimming pool was much nicer than expected and visible from outside.
Everything! Friendly staff, good food. We’d booked a normal room but our’s was wonderful, on the top floor with two beds, lots of old, wooden panelling, a table with chairs under a window overlooking the heavily wooded valley across to the château. We even had a balcony. And they have an indoor swimming pool and sauna. We were on a cycling holiday, but next time I would stay more than one night!
Nothing!
The hotel is in the centre of a gorgeous village and the restaurant, the terrace and the rooms at the back have a marvellous view over the old town and the Château. Go for a room on the third floor with balcony. The staff are very helpful. An excellent choice for a stay in this interesting part of Alsace where there are many places to visit.
Some of the rooms on the street side at the front are a bit cramped.
Beautiful hotel alas a bit worn. All sparkling clean with spacious room, lovely restaurant and great pool and sauna.
Wonderfull view from the balcony and restaurant terrasse. Nice, newly renovated pool area with a sauna. Good restaurant in the hotel.
The room was worn, but clean and with a good bed. Would have been nice with a refrigerator and the possibility to make coffee and tea in the room.
The room is clean and is big enough for a family of 4 people (2 adults + 2 kids). Nice view on the forest from the balcony. Nice breakfast and restaurant. Swimming pool & sauna are clean, towels available in the room. We arrived in the evening just after the restaurant kitchen closed but the employees were hospitable and prepared us some small stuff to eat. Very kind!
A lovely suite with a nice view. Great restaurant
Parking difficult
very spacious comfortable rooms. Staff exceptionally helpful organising transport and allowing us to stay longer in the roomto wait for transport.
A comfortable room with forrest/village views, a misty start of the day watching the low hanging clouds rise up to the sky was magical. Breakfast was excellent a good selection of bread, pastries, local cheeses and ham.
Hotel, room, clean, but hall ways & stairs, & elevator need updating snd maintenance.
Very Slow service at Resturant, Did not speak English, or have English printed menu. did not attempt to help us.Hall ways dirt, worn
The breakfast was nice, not awesome but good and several choices were available. The bedroom was big enough, a little old style but not an issue for us.
with two kids, the rooms very very comfortable and large enough.
it is close to Steasbourg but if you want to travel further down to Alsace like we did, it is quite far. nearest shop lidl is 15mins drive away.
The location of the hotel was good, easy to find and had free parking right outside. Had an enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant, and breakfast was also good.
Nothing, all was fine.
Very nice hotel well situated in the region, with friendly and very helpful staff, a good restaurant, nice bar, and very good breakfast buffet. There is also a swimming pool and sauna free of charge. We had a very good stay and will stay again if in the neighbourhood.
Some rooms are not very well insulated for sound. Depends what floor or wing you are in, but most residents are quiet, so it's not a real problem.
Service was perfect.
Clean, but verry small room and shower.
Charming hotel in a small and beautiful village. Great surroundings for walks and hikes. The room was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was rather small. Restaurant was very good as well as the service. Breakfast was great, good quality and local food. Facilities are great, we enjoyed the pool and the sauna. Free parking on the street was very easy.
Bathroom was rather small, though the shower cabin was good in size.
