The Vosges is a fascinating region and the hotel and its surroundings lived up to that. Lovely woodland walks for the dogs, delicious dinner. Room a bit small and dated but excellent shower which made up for it! And a nice little balcony
Great room. Comfortable beds. Food and service in restaurant excellent.
We had a relaxing stay. We stayed for the wedding of our friend. The owner of the hotel personally drove us to Saverne station free of charge because the train station in Tieffenbach was destroyed by the strong storm. Very nice person to meet. The hotel is also lovely.
clean and great location. they also have restaurant and their food tastes good. Reception staff were so accommodating an
Great location in the Vosges, dinner was fantastic quality and flavours, nice spa facilities
Breakfast was very good, a little bit expensive compared to other places we have stayed at
The little village is very charming and the staff was exceptionally helpful with my late check-in and late dinner.
The room (bathroom especially) could have been cleaner.
Staff, location and restaurant all amazing!
“Spa” area extremely cramped, lack of outdoor seating
Very pretty and in a lovely village, food was delicious Restsurant and bar staff excellent. Room was comfortable and well equipped.
Parking was not quite straight forward as we parked in the street realised in the morning that there was a car park at the back of the property.
quiet location and close to the festival
Minor TV handling problems (no remote control)
Good hotel .clean ..the spa was fine .my child enjoy .it was a good experience
The swimming pool and all was good . Clean and warm The breakfasts was good . Little bit expensive 17 euro adult and 9 euro child but the stuff was very polite and good service.the daily service of cleaning the room was good
I was in the old part of the hotel . Room 337 . There was some insect in the room and could not sleep good because of noise that came from the heater like a hammer on metal noise all the night . There was someone who came from maintenant and said its normal because its an old heating system . The persons in the desk was not so welcoming even a little bit hostile. Did not like there attetude . There is not a parking place dedicated to charging suitcases. The people in the desk was not nice . No refrigerator or mini bar in the room and the room in not so big
Attractive old building in the centre of the village. Dining room with extensive views over the countryside and good food. Lifts to all floors. Private car park at rear. Excellent busy bar (The Tivoli) serving extensive range of beers (including Belgium) within walking distance. Friendly hotel cat. We were only staying for one night on the way from Germany to the Channel Tunnel so didn't have time to use the swimming pool.
As with many hotels, the lighting in the rooms could be brighter. The bathroom mirror was cracked in the corner.
central location, excellent facilities and above all, friendly helpful staff.
The room was good and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good and the walk-in shower was nice. The staff were very helpful and pleasant
The air conditioning was broken so dinner in the restaurant was very hot and uncomfortable
lovely facilities, great food and welcoming staff. many thanks!
Al lovely hotel, some faded elegance but lots of character. The location of the hotel, the room and restaurant were all excellent.
The hotel grounds were a bit untidy.
nice tiny little town, great views
€ 160,00 per night is way too much for the accomodation and a simple roomthe "spa" is a too cold swimmingpool and a nicely warmed whirlpoolit's clear that the hotel needs a refrechment because the good days seem to be over which is sad for it still has great potention
