Beautiful secluded location, lovely building and grounds, superb breakfast, comfortable room, ideal for our one night stop on way back up France to get the ferry the next day.

was expecting a larger room? it was a lovely room, had booked a superior room but felt it was a modest size

Old, but authentic property surrounded by it's own extensive grounds. Really nice breakfast in the morning.

30 Euro's for two small dogs to stay is quite high. Booking.com should include these charges at the time of reviewing the property.

What a gem of a find. This beautifully decorated chateau is typically old French in a quiet location. We were met with an English speaking owner who with is sister and mother made our stay a real delight. We could park our car by the front door with secure parking. Beautiful grounds and a donkey & goat to boot!

Beautiful location, very friendly welcome from a lovely young lady. I think we got upgraded as the room was so big and stunning. Our dog was very welcome and the grounds were amazing. Overal a wonderful suprise. Breakfast was of a very good quality & the guests who stayed at the domaine were also very nice and interesting to talk to. We would for sure come back.

The location is great for a layover between Bordeaux and Calais.The house is characterful and quiet but the standout is the breakfast. Delicious, fresh and lots of it!

It was a bit cold - but the weather was just starting to change so maybe the heating wasn’t on yet.

The welcome was warm and friendly. Breakfast was good. The property is an old property but was full of character, very French! The young man that welcomed us thankfully could speak English well, however it does help to know some French phrases. The superior suite was big enough for our family.

The water didn't get completely hot. The water took a very long time to drain from the bathtub.

The bed was rock hard and small, we had trouble sleeping as it wasn't very comfortable.

It is a lovely old house, beautifully and tasteful renovated. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast is sumptuous and of very high quality. The location is perfect - it is very peaceful but only a few minutes from the motorway. Four hours from the Tunnel. They recommend a restaurant in the village which doesn't look very promising but which serves excellent, simple food in enormous quantities. There is no choice of wine but it is excellent so who cares.I think the pricing is very fair in the current climate considering the quality of what is offered.

Wonderful setting and charming hostess - a romantic French country house with the stable block converted into rooms in addition to the main house. Generous breakfast hosted in the house with a classic tablescape in a light-filled room. Very atmospheric.

Our stable block room did not feel particularly 'fresh'. Our room was a bit gloomy and over-filled with themed decorations (in this case, Indonesian) which seemed unnecessarily fussy when it could have kept the same mood of the main house - simple and classic.

Nothing to like here. Totally misrepresented on booking.com and absolutely the worst place we have ever stayed at. We refused to pay the price and only paid £55.00 and that was tooMuch!

Room was dirty, bathroom toilet roll holder took the form of an old plastic garden chair, very odd tableau of a Saharan water hole, featuring a real dried baby goat carcass and a black builders bucket. The outside terrace was in fact an overgrown weed patch.

It was perfect, beautiful place, kind staff, beautiful surroundings. Perfect travelling with a dog.
