La Malène is a very small but picturesque village. The hotel is very central, just across from the bridge and car parking.

The breakfast choices were limited but OK. Although this is no reflection on the quality of the hotel, there were not many guests here so it was not as social as I had hoped.

Friendly staff. New owners have spent money on fancy lighting and that's it. Room sanitation and wiring dates back to 80s. Bedspread dirty, bed linen felt unpleasant. The decorations and artwork tries to appeal to fishermen and motorcyclists but is tacky.
