    Pros +

    • Not much to like. Only thing I liked was that the Chef agreed to prepare a dish we requested. This the only good experience in the hotel. The rest was very bad.
    • Quiet location, good facilities
    • Staff were friendly. The surrounding countryside was really nice, as was the nearby village which had some good places to eat. The breakfast was quite good.

    Cons -

    • The hotel is run by a bunch of amateurs. Starting at the front desk. If you called on the phone they never answer and it goes to voicemail and then you cannot leave a message because the voicemail was full. No water in the room to drink. The coffee mugs were too big for the coffee machine. The rooms were tiny, no desk to work from and enough space to put your luggageNo help with luggage and reception area hard to get to from the car park. Total disaster
    • Dinner Menu had just 3 choices which didn’t change daily
    • The spa was a bit small and underwhelming. No complimentary bottled water in the rooms. A strange sulfurous smell in the outdoor parts of the site

The room was clean, comfortable and with lovely view.

There was very little menu choice & the menu didn’t change at all during our stay. There was also no lunch option or poolside menu and with the hotel being quite remote, had we not had a car to travel to the nearest shop this would’ve been more of a problem.

Studio very small and no outside area

The hotel itself is well done. The rooms, the decor, the common areas, the pool area, are all lovely. Great design.

The main problem is poor management. The pool area, gym and restaurant are perpetually disgustingly dirty. The pool area loungers are never cleaned -- they don't even bother to wipe off the sand from them -- and there's litter (cigarette butts, wrappers, etc) in the sand that they put around the pool. The restaurant's dishes have a layer of grime on them, as does the furniture, leaving us not wanting to go back. Restaurant is overpriced for the quality. Our room was nice, but they clearly took the privacy curtains from one window and forgot to replace them, and our TV mysteriously turned on at 5am. There's no Chromecast or streaming on the TV, and no way to plug in a HDMI, so our only option was to watch TV on our laptop. We couldn't have the terrace open because hornets had made a nest in the crack under the door and wasps above the door. It's also disappointing that room service isn't available mid-afternoon, especially since the hotel is very far from any significant town. When we did order room service, they left our lunch dishes in the hallway the rest of the time we were there.Despite plenty of space, the gym had only two machines, both of which were very dirty and one of which made a loud clicking noise constantly.

Padel courts, great poolside, good breakfast, good lunch, beautiful location

Perfect hideaway in the countryside and surrounded of winyards. With all comfort to imagine. Great food. Great beds, bathrooms and pool. We just loved it.

It was the second time we stayed in same place Beautiful part do the world

Restaurant has declinedBreakfast expensive and limited selection They had boil egg and bread pudding Small quantity of bacon, once finished they did not replenished, fruit only 1-3 types. For dinner the food was average and there are no other options on the hotel Rooms need a bit of maintenance No shampoo or conditioner in the rooms

The hotel is beautiful and has an amazing atmosphere. The vineyard, the pool, the restaurant area... perfect for relaxation. Their Wine is also very good and a nice touch to the stay.

Unfortunately, the TV was not working, the staff was super helpful, they sent someone into the room however the problem was not fixed. For a hotel that had no entertainment for the evening, this was a negative point... The lift was not working, and the pool although relaxing still needed a calm background playlist... it seemed like something was missing...

    Vineyards, views, nature

Lack of staff, no bar to sit at, no staff around the pool. Very limited menu. Nothing to do in the evening no entertainment. No live music etc. No hanging space in the rooms, tiny shower room. No lifts to get to first floor with heavy luggage. (Staff elevator did not work). Not set up for more than a one night stay.

The Setting is beautiful & the grounds around the hotels are nicely done The heated pool is great & padel courts tooSmall bottle of wine in room is a nice touch. Rooms are nicely decorated

The room was very dark. Much darker than expected from the pictures and there was a bad smell of drains / sewage both around the hotel and in the room throughout our stay. TV didn’t work properly in roomFood and drink is also overpriced. E.G. 8 euros for a coke

The pool The wine The atmosphere

Sadly this place could be so much better. We had booked a twin room but took over 90mins to get this sorted on arrival. We had travelled by motorcycle and would have liked to off got to the pool to relax. This wasn’t offered and we had to hang around waiting for the room to be readyPool bar closed once we arrived Service at dinner was very slow. So people waiting over an hour between coursesExpected more for this type of accommodation

Excellent setting, great room and pool facility, very clean and staff were good at being out of sight and yet available should you need something.

The biggest disappointment was the food offering. Really poor and not reflective of what you would expect from French cuisine and a hotel of this calibre especially in a setting such as this. Would suggest staying at the hotel, but would definitely dine outside in the surrounding villages where the food is far superior than that on offer at the hotel.

Beautiful location in the heart of the valley surrounded by the vines.

Some light fixtures didn’t work neither did the room door system for security. Wi-Fi is on and off every 5 minutes. Perhaps we visited at a time a deal was offered for families with babies, unfortunately this did detract from the chance to relax especially around the pool area. Having 5 children, who are now adults, we thought this was a venue for a more mature group of visitors and a chance for a relaxing break.

    Location , rooms

The price the day before the arrivalWas 150 eur less per room. I’ve came in contact with the hotel and never received any response. Food menu very limited.

The location, the rooms, the wine

The spa could be improved -there was only a tiny sauna and swimming pool. The restaurant menu was very limited -no potato/sweet potato fries -who wants to eat chickpea fries served with a steak?!

We liked the ambience , the staff were friendly & helpful

The music I’m the pool area was too loud for our liking

    9NicholasPosted on: 9-4-2023

Excellent accommodation and facilities with amazing lively vibe at the weekends. Staff were great and we had a fantastic time

Occasionally there were not enough staff and they seemed to go “missing”. Reception area was often deserted as was early morning breakfast. The pool bar staff were great but sometimes had way too much to do for one person and could have done with additional help.
