    Pros +

    • Perfect location and beautiful hotelRoom very comfortable , pool amazibg
    • It’s a gem. Good staff, lovely facilities, good local cuisine. Great location.
    • Location was on beach front. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious and varied. Short walk along seafront to small harbour with cafes and restaurants.

    Cons -

    • The smokers hanging around the pool all day. The amount of debris, bird poop, and dust on our car every day. It would be nice if they had a covered area to park. They charge a fee for EV charging.
    • Shower lacked pressure in my room and the hair dryer was pretty bad and could do with being replaced with a newer model. In low season having an a la carte breakfast option rather than paying a set €28 per person for a full buffet when we only really required some toast and maybe some scrambled egg would've been nicer, cheaper and less food waste for a quiet hotel.
    • Supper in the Restaurant. Limited choice, Surly Service and very expensive compared to other alternatives.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel/spa. Beautiful location, right on the beach with an easy stroll into the town centre. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. We would love to return and stay for longer next time.

Nice room, comfortable bed and pillows, lovely large balcony area, great TV. Fantastic food in the restaurant for dinner! Very pleasant staff.

A first rate hotel. Outstanding breakfast, lovely spa, excellent car parking and somewhere secure to keep our bikes.

More choice in the restaurant and more fish available would have been nice.

We stayed in a beautiful room with the most comfy bed in the world! The location is perfect, peaceful and the beach a 30 second walk. The pool is amazing and the staff are professional, friendly and attentive and sort anything you need out. We would stay here again in a heart beat, thank you for a magical stay.

The staff were fantastic!! So friendly, and so helpful for people that were there for the first time ,

Small thing . We ate in the restaurant which is very good restaurant and the main course was outstanding, but cheese board for a French restaurant was really poor , so soft cheese not even local cheeses which are amazing!! Anyway small thing and would go back tomorrow!!

Huge range for breakfast, but none of it amazing. Better, fresher croissants at the cafe down the road.

You can’t book what you like at the spa, you have to have a consultation first and then have something recommended without seeing a price list. The restaurant is overpriced and very limited menu. Service was a bit mixed, no pool towels available and no service at the pool. When we did eventually order some food, the dishes were still there 12hrs later. No one had cleared them. Room was freshly decorated and lovely, clean and spacious.

Great location, lovely room and really friendly, helpful staff. The spa treatments we had were great. The food at dinner was good but perhaps a little overpriced. Can’t fault the location.

The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were overstuffed and hard to sleep on. Maybe offering more variety would be good.

Great location and well appointed rooms.

Dinner was uninspiring so we only ate there once.

Amazing location in La Flotte, definite the best one

Unfortunately some little details to be a real luxury spot. One example: you order a drink at your end of day to enjoy the sunset, there’s no crackers, not an olive, not a nut to accompany it… don’t even ask, waitress says they don’t have any. ?

    Great location, comfortable room.

Restaurant was expensive for what we had with poor service. Staff were not knowledgeable. We ordered a whole fish (we were told it was one thing when it was something else), which was described as coming with vegetables selected by the chef. It came with potatoes only & cost over €130 for the dish for two. Thought we would improve the evening with some good wine and cheese. There was no cheese selection, just a plate of cheese (unidentified), covered in pesto oil.

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic location opposite the beach and a short walk from the centre of La Flotte. Staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed in a family suite, which was large, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed including a small outdoor space. The spa (18s only) was fabulous and the heated outdoor swimming pool always had space. Really recommend this as a fantastic place for a holiday

We didn’t have breakfast there as it was quite expensive. We bought from the local shops and ate in the kitchen/living room of suite. Other guests seemed happy with the food there. Only 1 toilet in the suite (2 showers). Ideally there would have been 2

It was air conditioned, clean, beautiful big rooms

I thought the breakfast wasn’t great. The orange juice was not nice. The pancakes cold and hard. All the pastries I tried I felt weren’t particularly fresh. The breakfast room needs a revamp in my opinion, given the price of accommodation. You’re staff are all really lovely and helpful on the other hand I want to add: while I’m grateful you ordered a taxi for me- the driver charged us 85 euro to get to La Rochelle gare- no taxi meter. He refused to turn on air conditioning on hottest day of year. It was actually 40 degrees in La Rochelle. My children were about to faint. We are Irish and suffered a lot on that journey. So maybe reconsider who you recommend as a taxi driver for your guests.

    Great location. Clean and comfortable.

Only one vegetarian dish on the menu and same menu presented for our entire stay of 5 days. Breakfast was very expensive.

    7LibertyPosted on: 8-5-2024

The property is right on the beach which is great and just a short walk from the centre of the port. The rooms were spacious.

We feel that for the price and it being a 5* hotel, the bike hire and parking should have been included. Additionally the parking was so much more expensive than a small car park right next to the hotel which we would suggest others to use instead. The breakfast was good but it’s expensive and at lot of it is self serve which is surprising for a 5* hotel, you would expect at least your hot drinks to be brought to you. Also the gym is not a gym, it is an airconditioned room with one static bike and some yoga mats, this could do with improving. Lastly, the food available in the evenings is very limited and so you could eat there once but not multiple times without repetition.

Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable bed, location. Good, friendly front of house staff.

Ineffectual a/c, indifferent staff in bar and restaurant.
