Pros +
- Excellent parking in the courtyard of the hotel made it very handy as an overnight stop on our drive back to the UK from Germany. The young man on reception was very helpful and friendly and prepared a very nice breakfast for us. Room was quite large if lacking a bit of style. Bathroom good and clean. St Quentin has a beautiful square with many bars and restaurants, worth a visit.
- Great for an overnight stop on the way to the Alpes
- An adventure Booking.Com should not have led me into
Cons -
- Room was a bit basic but I would stay there again.
- Beds are very firm.Bathroom needs updating as looking tired.
- The place was obviously a brothel. There were rates per hour as well as per night (very expensive but fortunately not what I paid) on the dorr. The receptionist had gone off for dinner but was very anxious when he realised I was a single woman

The property was in a good location for a one night stay.
The room was very cold even though the heating was on when we arrived. The bed was totally uncomfortable I am only a small man and had a job to get out of it. Needs to be thrown out. Also it said in the description that there was tea/coffee in the room. There was no tea and coffee and no kettle.
The room is adjacent to the car park so really easy to park up outside and access the car. Rooms have a lovely modern electric fire and a massage chair. From there you can walk into the town within about 10 minutes. The river is close by. Easy access to car park, no height restrictions.
No one around at 8am when we left so just left the key in the door
Useful location to stop en route south from Calais. Charming reception. Big room. Offstreet parking. Big bed. Big, hot shower.
Room is minimalist (except bizarrely for a massage chair). Mattress and pillows uncomfortable. Basin surround in bathroom peeling.
Parking?
The dirty inflatable jacuzzi set 2 foot from the bed that makes noise all night (as do the next door neighbours) I’m sure some people are happy with this offer, but it wasn’t for us. The bathroom was a little grotty around the edges. I also had to remove slaters (pill bugs) throughout our stay.
Great breakfast, really helpful, friendly staff. The accommodation was spacious and clean. We stayed one night on route home from the South of France. It was close to a river and lake which gave us a lovely place to stretch our legs after travelling.
We picked this because of the electric charger. The charger was actually just an outdoor plug. This was OK but meant we were only able to part charge as this type of charging is super slow. It would have been helpful to know this in advance to help us with our journey planning.
No breakfast available and no bakeries/coffee shops nearby.
No one was available to greet us and it was only by our hollering in the open windows that the manager came out. We had flown 10 hours on an overnight flight, followed by a 3 hour drive and just wanted to lay down to rest. Although the rooms were ready, he wanted us to come back 3 hours later. He finally allowed us access to our room, which we appreciated.
Very clean and modern room. Excellent facilities within the room.
I wouldn't call this a hotel, more like a motel; several rooms off a central courtyard. Reception closed at 8am when we wanted to check out so we had to leave the key next to the door and take a photo.
The staff were so helpful and the rooms were spacious, clean and relaxing
Pleasant
Waiting around for the receptionist to turn up after been asleep and when he did turn up looked like he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards and stunk of fags
Room very large, bed and shower excellent. On my motorbike and arrived soaked through, managed to dry all my stuff!
Bit far out of the centre
Met our needs - somewhere secure to sleep comfortably (which we did) have a good shower and park easily within 2 hours of Calais. 10-15 minute walk into the centre of town and restaurants although we thought it was nicer by the river.
No one was there on our arrival so had to phone a number on the door. Someone did arrive within about 5 minutes. Be aware all rooms surround the same courtyard and only have a small window with a view of the car park. Rooms can also be rented on an hourly basis. Not given a Wifi code :(
Motel style so parked at the door and after a long journey it was nice to use the massage chair. Lovely scandi style modern room furnishings Great guy on check in who recommended Le huit (8) for dinner
The 100% polyester linen was hot, sweaty and itchy. Please switch to cotton linen for a better night sleep, the pillows were square display cushions / scatter cushions which were not comfortable either - please switch to traditional pillows. Please move the blue smokers couch further from the rooms as the cigarettes smoke blew in the room when doors / windows were open
Good size room and bathroom. Friendly staff and interesting chair that gave you a massage, after a long journey very welcome! Nice walk along canal nearby.
The sheets felt slippery and maybe nylon, def not cotton which wasn’t so nice! Mirror as headboard - whatever takes your fancy!! Bathroom had cracked sink. Long walk into town
A very comfortable room, parking right outside. Reastaurants and a bar about 200yds, centre of town about 10 min walk, all very attractive.
Not really 24hr desk. Tried to leave the keys on departing. No box or manned reception to do so.
This is a basic ‘motel’ type property but you can’t fault it for value for money. Location is within walking distance of the centre of Saint Quentin. We stayed on route to the South of France with our two dogs and it was comfortable and adequate. However, for what we paid it was great value for money ? We didn’t take the breakfast but went to the McDonalds just down the street on the way to our next destination. Good for a quick stop over. We have an electric car and although they advertise an EV charger it’s just a domestic plug which is fine for no charge but be aware it won’t fully charge overnight!! Would stay again…
The room was spacious, receptionist was friendly, parking was easy.
The room does not have air-conditioning as advertised, it has a fan with ice blocks in that melted by bedtime making the room 25 degrees. We specifically booked based on air conditioning as we have a young baby. The room also smelt of smoke.
Modern clean room - although a bit tatty in places. Good location for a quick walk for food. It was about the only place we stayed in which provided a kettle, coffee etc.
Property wasn’t displaying a name so it was difficult to find. No-one was on site and reception was locked up when we arrived about 7.00pm. But a quick phone call and a five minute wait bought the manager out - we think he must live next door.
