Pros +
- It was very serene and it had some outdoor area. The spa and the circuit were good and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom big . Our room had a nice patio as well and because it's october and a Wednesday, there is no one around. Very quiet.

Cons -
- The place is well-built, a modern construction - meaning it had nothing to do with the Templarios; everything was built in this century. The materials were good but some areas were fake. The decoration is mixed for me--- using ugly modern elements in such a space was not a good idea. Lots of flies inside the building, but I guess that's why you are in the country. The staff could be more refined-- as it's a 4-star "superior", and the spa could have more details-- actually, the whole hotel could go the extra step --with the little details that make your stay amazing. No conditioner, our AC didn't work.... but this is just being picky.... I'm sure this place in the summer and "in season" won't be definitely quiet—lots of rooms for lots of people. I didn't like that they have a mini zoo with lots of animals in one small space. Felt bad for them, but that's just me.
- Dim bedroom lighting, ugly bedroom furniture, no hot water in the shower
- The beds were very hard if you like that. Breakfast was fine so long as you are not gluten free as my wife has to be, in which case you are going hungry. The bottles of water in the minibar were either not free or someone had forgotten to leave a bottle opener in the room. There was no reduction or discount in the spa entry for residents do bed, breakfast and spa came to a whopping 268 euros.

We booked the 'junior suite', which was extremely spacious and comfortable. The pool was very nice too.
The spa cost extra, which I hadn't expected considering the price of the room (€160+), with no breakfast included. Most of the furniture on the very spacious balcony was in poor condition, and with quite a lot of bird droppings on it.
They upgraded our room at no extra cost. Very pleasant spacious room. Everything was clean.
Room was incredible and bigger than expected. Fabulous bed, bathroom. Restaurant and food marvellous. Clean. Architecture.
Grass around swimming pool is getting damaged.
Beautiful location, quiet grounds, great outdoor pool
Spa (extra cost) is very worn out and needs refurbishment, not worth the price. Some nights there are wedding discos until 4 or 5am.
Very nice location and very good facilities. Staff friendly.
Breakfast was good but not exciting. Standard variety and quality. Information regarding trekking paths is limited.
Hotel was located in a very quiet place, with amazing views and great villages to visit nearby. The room was nice, big, with balcony, bathtub and shower and a beautiful loft roof... Moreover, we didn't hear that much noise so we had the chance to relax and enjoy the quietness.
We were missing in the room a kettle to have some tea/coffee and some snacks in the bar. The bath robe was too thin to be useful. The food was very expensive for the options given, specially when it comes to someone who is vegan or has special restrictions in the diet (like it was in our case)Moreover, we booked the spa for 2 hours outside the "children's schedule" but we found kids there and the spa was very crowded - I don't understand that we are asked to let them know in advance at what time we are going to the spa and the fact we have to book it but then they are not able to stop the booking at certain timings when they see it is fully booked and people can't enjoy it. We paid for 2 hours spa but we left earlier because of that.Furthermore, the staff was not caring or even paying attention to the customer. We arrived earlier and they took our phone number to call us when the room would be ready but they never called and we were waiting outside.Quality price I would say it is very expensive for a 4 stars+ hotel. Only worth it are the views and the silence
The Spa. The bed. The location.
It took a while to get the attention of the bar staff. The second evening I went to the bar and waited for around 5 mins before going to reception and asked if the bar was open. The staff said yes of course and then phoned the bar to get the staff away from the TV in the back room of the bar.
Good parking facilities, room opening onto a private terrace, nice ham and cheese platter served in bar area, the proximity of the beautiful old village of La Alberca.
Found the room decor rather dark and austere, not very good value for money as breakfast is not included in the price of the room. Expected the receptionist to speak English or French in such a grand hotel.
The location is nice & calm.
The furniture & interior equipments are of low quality, the fixed hangers in the wardrobe would fall when we hanged clothes on (what are hangers for?), there was a mini swimming suit dryer in the bathroom which was broken, the hot water ran out before the tub was filled… very bad value for the price which is already on the higher end.
The location, the staff (in special Antonio) and the environment in the hotel, it’s special.
The spa wasn’t that good. The water wasn’t enough hot and two pools were not working.
Different and timeless.
The Wi-Fi was non existent in the room and not much better in the lobby.
Piscina natural
Great hotel, very comfortable, well located. Fantastico spa! I highly recommend at least one trip to the SPA.
Bom e confortável
Iluminação no quarto
