- We needed some place not too far from Salzwedel to stay with space to park, and this place fit that description perfectly. Directly off a main road, plenty of free parking, friendly staff, quiet. The rooms were small but had everything one needs. Breakfast was very plentiful.

- It was a touch difficult to find the hotel; not a lot of light and we were initially not at all sure it was open. Also, whoever designed the desk-area of the room did not think that people might want an *outlet* nearby (for charging laptops and such). There is an outlet, but it's behind the (solid) desk that one has to move to get to it.
- In the middle of the night there was cigarette smell coming from outside the room and we had to open the window to let fresh air in. This is of course not a fault of the hotel owners/staff but more so a problem with the guests, which decided to smoke in a non-smokers-room.

Staf is not speak foregn language, they dont answer telefone. In the room was about 50 flies fly. Its terreble!!!
Comfortable bed, bright room
If you didn't know how late 80's and early 90's looked like, this is right place to find out. Furniture and equipment is dated and old.
This hotel is in a rural small community and modest but clean, comfortable and what we were expecting as there were minimal options in the area. We were attending a wedding nearby.
A/C would have been nice as it was pretty hot while we were in Germany and there were no screens on the windows.

We had chosen the hotel as it seemed "biker friendly". The location was rural although close to a decent sized town, the staff were welcoming, the room perfectly acceptable and food good. The host was a like minded biker and took the time to talk to us and made us feel very welcome.. Would recommend.
