    Pros +

    • I loved the screen on the big window. It meant that I could air out the room and stay cool without having visitors come into the room. The bed was very comfortable.
    • I stayed here in the off season (January), town & hotel was very quiet. Staff very friendly & helpful (got me a kettle for room) & also at breakfast. Room was huge, spotless, comfortable, well equipped & quiet, breakfast was tasty, filling with hot & cold options. Hotel couldn't have been more central, 5 minutes to station & museum, a couple of minutes to harbour & village store. If I came back here, this would be my go-to accommodation.
    • Location perfect, warm welcome, took care of bicycle, room well appointed, food, both supper and breakfast, excellent value, staff friendly and efficient.

    Cons -

    • The shower is quite a big step down for an older person. The bar the curtains hangs on was very dirty. And no, I wasn't doing a check. The curtain got hung up and I had to climb up there to release it and I saw how dirty the Stange was.No restaurant on the weekend.
    • Nothing, all boxes ticked- clean, quiet, ideal location, friendly staff, good food & clean.
    • On checking in I was bluntly told that if I wanted to eat in the restaurant I had 15mins before they closed. There was no mention that on Tuesday night they were closed and there were minimal other options in the village. I had to get the staff to turn on the room lights as the unusual wiring system meant I couldn't get them to work. Breakfast is served from 8am ~ 10am but there is little left to eat by 9am and it is not restocked. When I got back to the hotel at 18:30 on Tuesday I found the place locked and deserted. As the restaurant was closed and there was nobody to ask I ended up having to get the train to the next town for some food as the entire village seems to close at about 7pm. I was given no info on this so I could plan accordingly although they knew I did not have a car.

Very good breakfast, very German. Only scrambled eggs were cold and over cooked

The breakfast was very good. The location of the hotel is central in the village, and it is very convenient as the major attractions can be reached on foot.

This is a family run hotel and restaurant. The hotel room was excellent - very comfortable with very good bathroom facilities. We ate in the restaurant on both nights - good service and good food.

    All good

Very well ! Modern, suitable and near the pier where there’s some restaurants

Restaurant closed at 8pm .. too soon

It's in a great location for your likely visit to the Peenemunde museum, which is an exceptional place. Breakfast was very nice, in a lovely large room, and the bedroom, whilst basic and a little dated, were very comfortable.

Shame that for our 2 night stay, the bar and restaurant were closed, as was everywhere else in the village, so we had to travel to the next village (Karlshagan).

Comfortable and clean rooms, very roomy. Excellent breakfast.

Dissappointed the restaurant was not open on the evenings I satayed there. That was Tuesday and Weds, had been looking forward to meals in the highly rated restaurant. I had not been made aware it was closed, or I had missed that bit. Other than that a very pleasant stay.

The breakfast was far bigger than what I expected, given the price. Also the quality was very good.Food in the restaurant was one of the best german food I've had in decades! And great service that took a lot of care of our little boy!

With a toddler that shares the bed, I would have loved to have a King Size bed with one mattress or at least the 2 mattresses connected without a gap.

breakfest, bed, room was very very good!

We really liked the buffet selection at breakfast. There was juice, tea, coffee as well as hot and cold breakfast items. Each table had a large pot of coffee and fresh butter and the breakfast room was clean, large, airy and spacious.

Our stay was lovely. The staff were very kind and helpful and I couldn't fault the hotel. There was no lift to our room but we were on the first floor anyway so this wasn't necessary.

Great shower, nice pillows, very clean, everything in excellent condition. Could park in front of the hotel. Great value for money (off season)

The rooms was small, but we didn’t mind.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, good food.friendly people.

The location is very close (short walking distance) to the many attractions in Peenemunde including the Peenemunde Museum. The staff were particularly helpful as they made me a nice meal despite the restaurant having already finished by the time I arrived. The bedroom was immaculately clean with a most comfortable bed!

    No complaints!

    10AntonyPosted on: 4-17-2022

The location was excellent for walking in the area and appreciating the remote location for which Peenemunde is famed. The breakfast was excellent. Due to it being "out of season" we decided to have our evening meal at the hotel. That evening meal was good value and excellent.

There was nothing to dislike but in future I would ask for a kettle in the room to make a cuppa. Alternatively I should have remembered my travel kettle!

They had free breakfast and then open to paid dinning.
