Breakfast was fantastic continental breakfast. We were also offered hot, made-to-order eggs along with continental breakfast. Location was perfect, right in the middle of Königstein and a very easy commute to either Vilseck or Grafenwohr. Overall, hotel was superb experience!

Our hosts went out of the way to ensure we had a wonderful breakfast experience! Coffees made fresh and even scrambled eggs made to order! They even went out of their way to get my husband some delish sausages with his meal!
It was a nice stay for a one night. I needed a place near Vilseck, and this cute town is 15 minutes away. Honestly, the staff made this place special and the beds were comfortable. The homey feel in the morning was wonderful. We were welcomed to the breakfast area by Sebastian, who made eggs according to our order that was really nice. The balcony in my room provided a beautiful view of the night sky and shiny stars. It was truly breathtaking.
Overall, the room was somewhat outdated, and there wasn't enough parking, but it wasn't a deal breaker.
I liked 80's styling of the place
WiFi was "free", but they have a system of daily logins that never worked for me, on top of that I had no signal in my room.
Breakfast was great, good water pressure in the shower. Large rooms.
How early the restaurant and bar closed. 8pm is super early for a wkend.

What did I like...well, the bed was comfortable enough.
Lots of disappointment here. The internet especially was unreliable and weak. The noise from construction trucks driving by was bad, not their fault but, they left a pair of ear plugs in the room, I used them. Problem is I stayed there for a MONTH and never got a second pair. Same with a small supply of tea and the tiny bottle of water that was left there for me upon check in but then never replaced again. I used the soap and sewing kit that was supplied with the room and never got a replacement. They unplugged anything that I left plugged in during the day. The breakfast was average at best... I could go on.
The hotel served a good German breakfast and also prepared eggs to order. The was a good selection of items to satisfy everyone in our family.
Great staff, excellent breakfast buffet, lovely atmosphere, and centralized location to explore a town fit for kings.

Not enough parking
Excellent breakfast and location. The only downside was that we arrived on their rest day, but the staff was very accommodating and there were plenty of other places to eat on the same block. The facilities were fantastic, including the best bathroom sink I think I've ever seen.
