- Made to feel welcome upon arrival and we had standard rooms in the main building. Our room was large enough and well equipped and clean. Beds were comfortable and we had everything needed for a good nights sleep. We ate in the outside courtyard which, has was nice under the newish patio roofed area. The food was good and there was a varied menu. We did have to find the staff to order more drinks and desserts but they were chatting in the bar and busy with a group that had arrived This is obviously a popular place to eat as locals seemed to eat there and there was a nice atmosphere too. Breakfast was good and there was a wide selection of food available with plenty to choose from. This was served in the main dining area

- The pictures should be updated on the website as time has moved on since they were taken. Also be aware that the hotel in situated directly onto a road, so road noise does impact your stay. Although it was considerably quieter over night and ear plugs were provided. The patio area was looking a bit shabby and unloved and could have done with a really good weeding and tidying. The furniture could do with an overhaul. The kids sand play area really should be in a box as sand was traipsed everywhere and toys were scattered around. I felt it was a bit expensive for what it was - but as there is so little accommodation around the area it does not have much competition
