Clogged Shower Drain

The Shower was not working properly. First we didn't have proper hot water. The bigger problem was that the drain for shower was choked and the shower tub was flooded. The bathroom was smelly after the technician tried to clean the drain.

It was a way beyond our expectations! We stayed in the boathouse! We felt like we were on Maldives! The quiet evenings was perfect! A bottle of wine, looking on sunset and moonrise... We are so unlucky because we stayed only one night but the peaceful neighbourhood and friendly staff are worth to stay a week, especially if you want to have some peaceful rest. A simple life, a simple timespending, a quick lessons to speak German which one sentence is very important: "Eine Krombacher bite!" We will return here definitely!

We took the boat house. Ot was really nice! As previous comment said, there was some spiders but only outside, and it can't be helped as the boat is on water. But the inside was very clean and we had no issues at all! A bottle of sparkling wine and water were waiting for us in the fridge, and small bottle of soap and moisturiser. The inside of the boat house was very cozy, our group of 4 enjoyed it a lot!

The spiders on the outside. Not a big issue if you are not afraid of them :) We removed them, but other came back 2 hours later. So the boat is clean, just wildlife are fast to come back!

Very interesting historical place with a beautiful park. Open air restaurant with a view of the lake. Very friendly staff.

Nice big, well equipped apartment. Beds comfortable and everything inside the apartment was clean. Breakfast was fine for the money.

The apartments are in a modern block next to run down Schloss. Schloss is closed off in the winter. Views from the apartment were of old garages and houses.

The room size was huge, separate bathroom which was huge, the first floor was at our disposal. It was very warm, comfortable bedsThe room overlooked the river, wonderful views. There aren't enough superlatives to describe the breakfast, it was fabulous, the choice was outstanding, it was a cold buffet. Parking excellent,.Will definitely visit again if passing, can definitely recommend.Visited late November.

It was disappointing there wasn't any coffee making facilities, but otherwise we had no other complaints.

It would be great to add a hair dryer and some shower soap and shampoo. Other than lovely place. Great location and lots of space. Wish we could have stayed longer.

nice large bedroom plus a sitting room (not needed). nice furniture (not needed). very quiet. comfortable bed. good breakfast. Nothing else.

Restaurant was very poor with extremely limited choice. still looked like former east germany. only one building had been renovated and the main schloss was a dilapidated ruin. very disappointing, expected much better from the pictures provided on booking site.much too expensive.

I like the staff and environment. Such a peaceful place to stay. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there is a barbecue. It's a fixed price of around 16 EU. With an extra fee, there is a nice breakfast. I also enjoyed the cafe/bar of the hotel, near the river. I went there by bike from Brandenburg Bhf. around 30 mins. easily.

One small detail I can say; If you want to tour around the forest and river, don't forget to bring your own mosquito, bug, etc. repellent like me. =) I asked if they have one, but they didn't. It can be good if they have one because of inexperienced allergic people.

Historical place. This castle is gradually being converted to a hotel. Rooms already existing are nice. Breakfast is opulent, huge. For just a little bit more you get an apartment. Recommended

Hotel does not accept the prepaid accommodation, so we had to pay at the counter. Bad for a stay that was gift and then you have to pay on your own.Accommodation is nice on the views you can spot on the photos - everything else is a construction site.

The whole place has a cool vibe, not (yet) in its prime but looking promising. The room was big and facilities good. Breakfast was very good. Nice area for cycling trips.

Not much to do in the close neighbourhood (other than cycling). If you are too late you may struggle to find a place to eat.

I really enjoyed staying here for one night. Very quiet location, comfortable bed. In the morning: jump into the lake. And great breakfast venue at the lake.

A magical location, very generous breakfast buffet, spacious room. A great starting point to walk or cycle through the beautiful pine forests and bathing spots of the Havel region.

Hot water in shower lasted 60 seconds. Otherwise great place to stay. Will do it again.
