Pros +
- This hotel is in a beautiful location on the west coast of Sweden, but if you arrive on a Sunday in October its like being in a ghost town. There were no staff at the hotel, and we had to let ourselves into the room. Which was okay! We enjoyed the sauna very much, and getting into the cold water was nice too.
- The restaurant was excellent. The location and view were super.
- Dinner and sunset were lovely - we really enjoyed taking the bikes and doing a quick loop of the town
Cons -
- We were there on a Sunday, so no options for food at the hotel. AND there was nothing open in the entire area of a 10 km radius anyways besides a pizza / kebab place. I think the hotel should leave a list of dining options in the area to help when its sunday, and like a ghost town.
- The rooms have very poor sound insulation. You can hear the people in the room above and the deck above that. This, coupled with a group partying loudly until 2am, is unacceptable. It's poor management not to have a policy regarding noise, particularly when the place promotes itself as a haven of calm and relaxation. Also, the bathroom lights didn't work
- Rooms are tiny, which is fine but I think on reflection I would have booked a premium room in advance (they were fully booked and I was not able to change)

Fantastic location, great dinner, kind, helpful service
Room a bit small but well layer out
Lovely place and I stayed here before amazing location and very cool floating rooms. Last time I stayed here we had great food and a lovely time in the evenings.
I stayed from Sunday to Thursday and the restraunt and bar was closed the whole time. The hotel is remote and there is very little to do in the surrounding area meaning we had to collect take away pizza and kebab and eat in our rooms all week - when we arrived on Sunday there was a note on the door saying the facilities were open on Monday and all week- that note was removed and nothing was available. As I stated this place is lovely when it’s open but if it’s not open there is no where to eat locally and nothing to do. The hot tub is payable- but nobody was on duty for us to arrange it- Would put me off returning.
Nice, proper and comfortable rooms with a very nice view. The resturant was very good but expensive as "normal" in Sweden.
A good buffet breakfast but a bit of a scrum to get what you need when busy. Nice choice of food. opportunity to eat in the restaurant or outside if good weather. Choice of full restaurant or pizza restaurant for lunch and evening. Very pretty setting in harbour with swimming possible from just outside bedroom.
Car parking nearby can be a challenge, and luggage needs to be carried about 120 M from nearest car park. Rooms small but well appointed and just adequate in size when sharing with a large dog.
Breakfast was very good with a lot of options. Instead of overload the quantities the staff refilled what was needed which is the best approach.
The rooms are fine but are quite small if you are 2 adults and have some luggage. There were no wardrobes in our room. The bed was very comfortable.
Location is excellent. Breakfast was good
Dinner service was slow and a bit chaotic. Service did not meet the quality expectations of price. Breakfast buffet layout was rather tight for space and away from seating. Not so convenient for guests
Nice personal staff and great breakfast.
Twin single beds paired but not attached to each other.Food not up to the expectations.
I stayed in the Vila Salt and found it to be really pleasant and comfortable, it was clean with a modern galley type kitchen, the bathroom is nice with a heated floor, the lounge is comfortable and it was warm even though the weather was cold and terrible and will definitely stay again Brilliant selection and delicious breakfast options The lunch was delicious and I can highly recommend the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help and I thank them for making my stay easy and pleasant. The surrounding area is beautiful
Location and friendly staff are excellent. Prefect breakfast buffet with a great sea view.
Beautiful views and delicious food
The staff were amazing however it seemed to be understaffed
the location, the view, and the breakfast
The bed is too soft that we couldn’t have a good sleep. And it would be better that the wet zone in the shower can be closed properly so that the dry zone won’t get wet.
Superb hotel - gorgeous location. Food was excellent.Rooms are not huge but very comfortable. Staff were lovely.
Parking may be an issue when the village is busy. Hotel does not have dedicated spaces.
great location at the waterfront, especially fantastic restaurant at water front, very friendly staff
in spite of perfect sundown-weather it was not allowed to have dinner on outside terrace
Setting is idyllic with views out to sea.Restaurant was very good.We had an apartment and this had everything you needed
Our first night's stay was perfect. Tentative staff in the restaurant with, excellent service and meal quality, however the second night was a total contrast. There appeared to be just one waitress and she was so rushed the service was dire, despite ordering the same as yesterdays meal as it was so good it was nothing like the quality of the previous day and we waited and waited to order more drinks and desert but were simply ignored, then when it came to paying the bill was a total mess and not a hint of an apology for the poor evening. I even showed photos of the meals from yesterday compared with today and still not a hint of apology or the offer of a drink to compensate. For me it ruined what would have been an exceptional score. Please sort out your staff management, quality control and billing system!!
Superb view on the water! Very nice breakfast with a good choice! Splendid christmas decorations, very warm interiorFriendly staff, all is done with a smile! small but nice bedrooms.
we were sad that there was no dinner facility. At 17.00 we were stuck in our room with no dinner. If you close the reception, bar and restaurant, just close the hotel! We were not happy that we weren't warned that everything was closed.Off season there is no restaurant open in at least 25 km around! The bathroom is a bit old, when you take a shower, the glass protection is small and you have a complete wet bathroom if you are not very careful
Location is amazing and scenery beautiful. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our family including young child and dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Only criticism is that the rooms on the ground floor closest to the restaurant where we stayed are very overlooked, especially when curious diners come across and look through windows, a sign to deter non residents would help I think.
Breakfast was sufficient, could have been a better variety of teas. We had a room with a marvelous view over the water.
No service available on Sunday when we arrived.
