Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great location. Good food in the restaurant.

Charming hotel, quiet location, good breakfast, very clean. We liked the big terrace of our room with a view of the sea and the village. Beds and pillows were excellent. Very friendly staff. Free parking in front of the hotel.

Lack of wall sockets for phone charging etc.

Location was excellent and bedroom, with balcony overlooked the pretty harbour of this small fishing village. Breakfast very good.

Everything was fine.

There were a few positives. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. It is in a beautiful setting. You could park for free directly outside. The staff did their best to counteract the surliness of the owners and tried to be helpful, they are a credit to the place. We ate there as there was nowhere else open and it was better than expected. It does have a lovely terrace.

It had a very ‘Fawlty Towers’ vibe. The decor is very dated. The worst thing, which is not the hotels fault I admit, is the fact that the church in the bay rings it bells every hour and half hour 24 hours a day; I know this because I didn’t get a wink of sleep. How I wished for ear plugs.

Small hotel with great view.Rooms are super clean, and smell really nice. Parking in front of the hotel, free of charge. From hotel easy walk to Zavratnica (what you must visit when here). The restaurant is ok, the food is tasty but is a bit pricey.Staff are foreigners, don't speak croatian but polite and nice.

Breakfast could be better for 8 euros per person. For example, we found cevapi in the tray with hotdogs, which seems as they are at least day old...Orange juice is a basic supermarket version, etc..Not big things, but improvements are possible and needed. Overall,nice stay!

The family owned hotel was very good, clean and comfortable. Our room had a mini-bar/fridge and enough storage space for all our stuff.The breakfast offers a wide choice of foods, both savoury and sweet, hot and cold.There's a lovely shaded terrace where you can enjoy a drink or a good meal at a very reasonable price. The hotel faces the sea directly and is located in a beautiful, quiet and picturesque village, away from the tourist crowds. The beach is conveniently located just 1 minute's walk from the hotel and there is always plenty of space. The sea is magnificent, crystal clear and turquoise. Great place for snorkelling to see the many species of fish up close. To sum up, we had a great stay in a beautiful place from which we have lovely memories.Thank you to Russi and Guri for the service, to Simi for the food, and to Mijo and his sister for the kind departure gift.

Difficult to find food to buy for an excursion for example, as there's no shop in the village, so come prepared.

Great location big room

Very dirty, facilities were not working. The owners treated staff very poorly. Overall very disappointing and it was surprising because it had very good ratings.We stayed for one night so it didn't really matter for us but the air-conditioning in the sleeping room was not working, the refrigerator was smelling extremely, kitchen....everything very bad. But the room was very big.Overall bad, BUT in a wonderful location!!

A quiet little area that is nice to visit for swimming and hiking.

We absolutely loved staying here at Lux Hotel. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was delicious. The location was a little out of way, but well worth it. This little village was precious, and we had the best dinner at Lux Restaurant, it was amazing and we ate every bite, along with the beer & wine. A hidden gem! Thank you for the wonderful time we had there!

Fridge won't on and didn't get cold. Only a hand-held shower. The full me nu was not available and as vegetarians it was difficult.

Great location, very big room with balcony with sea view, modern equipment, very nice breakfast and possibilty to eat dinner. Location is very very beautiful and village is peacefull and quiet.

The staff was great, nice, friendly and helpful. Cleaning lady was great and nice and nothing hard to do. Every day clean towels if you like.The beach is clean, and close. It was the cleanest water on adriatic sea. Good food, but the only missing thing is little matket in town which is closed. The nearest shop is in town Stinica, 4 km avay. Calm town to provide great vacation.We will come back for sure.

Nice family run hotel in a picturesque cove. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The view from the room was beautiful. The food at the restaurant is delicious!

Old room and rude owners. The breakfast It's poor and poor quality. The proper coffee and cappuccino are charged as an extra. The restaurant also served poor quality and overpriced food. It was our second time there, but for sure, it'll be the last. The owner, I believe a German lady, look at us like you do not belong here all the time and treated us in a bossy way. We're clients, not unbehaved children. We went to the bar to ask for a big Coca-Cola that we saw in the fridge and she refused to sell a big one only to charge us 3eur for a smaller one... It seems that these people need to learn some manners. And for last, the place is not pet friendly.

Mid-May was apparently a little too early in the season as their regular cook hadn’t yet arrived and the menu was limited.
