- Fairytale hotel.
- Large airy rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was fabulous. My husband loved his trout. The roast beef steak was tender and perfect.
- Nice rooms good food correct breakfast
Cons -
- The one negative was the breakfast; rolls were not fresh and the cold meats were not as good as our previous three hotels. We did enjoy everything else.
- We can hear our neighbours very good, but may be it is a specific of old buildings. The kitchen in the restaurant was open only from 17 30 till 19 45, so we had to go to the next village to get both lunch and dinner..
- Was in one of the front rooms and the bells from the church opposite were annoying but other than that, all good

A nice hotel in historical building, only 12 min by car to Hohenzollern palace.

Easy to find, good parking, very friendly staff, very nice room and breakfast.
Always a great welcome, comfortable and good value
Was in one of the front rooms and the bells from the church opposite were annoying but other than that, all good
Fabulous family run establishment with lovely staff and warm feeling. Excellent restaurant. Good location en route between sights. Perfect execution of all services. They really care.
Beds weren’t very comfortable and pillows insufficient. Our room on the front corner was so noisy we could barely sleep once morning traffic began.
When we first arrived, we were asked for our passports as ID although we hadn't been asked in two previous hotels. However, the two members of staff that night couldn't have been nicer (Jana and Louis - hope I spelled those correctly). They helped with the menu by recommending meals and dessert and also took the time to come and chat with us about our time in Germany, our lives back in the UK etc. We couldn't have asked for nicer staff ☺
Nothing major but our room was a little chilly due to the snowy weather so we ended up sleeping in our t-shirts. We had heard that a few days prior to our arrival that it had been 25c so that may have been why it was cold. Also, no tea and coffee making facilities in the room like most hotels ☺
Location is nice, only 15 min drive from Hohenzollern Castle which was our primary destination
Impossible to shower standing up. I’m only 1.60m and due to the inclined roof in the shower area even for me was impossible to shower standing up. I literally had to shower sitting on the floor of the bathtub, very uncomfortable
Fantastic food, nice young lady.
The bells rang every 15 minutes all night
Cozy hotel, very close to Hohenzollernburg. Attentive staff, decent room. Good breakfast for good value!
Next to the main street, which doesn't have much movement but you can still hear the cars passing from inside the room. The town's church bell would ring every hour, even in the middle of the night.
Comfy clean room, good bed, staff friendly. Great dinner in the restaurant.
Good
Room was like an European university dorm room: Bed small, narrow and not comfy.
Good breakfast selections, high quality. HUGE room, well appointed. Would stay here again.
Nothing. exceptional
Location is good.Breakfast is poor, they bring everything on one tray. It's nit a buffet where you shoose what you want to eat.The water in the shower cabin drais very slowly.Parking is very good. The staff is friendly.
The internet signal is sometimes lost. The pillows could be replaced with new ones because they werw miserable in our room.
The receptionist Mr Langesbein was a perfect guy. He is polite and the same time hard working. I want to thank for his efforts and kindness. Very clean and comfortable place. Breakfast was good enought for me. Room size is ok. Great area!
There is an effortbthat I can see to reduce noice of road passing side of hotel but it is not enough. Try to choose a room from back side of hotel. bathroom is under roof slope, thats why during taking the shower you can't stand! Too much traffic on the road in front of hotel.
Hotel Post exceeded our expectations. We booked only a day in advance and a late evening check-in was arranged nicely. The room was much bigger than expected and had a warm atmosphere with a lot of wood which we very much liked. The bathroom was also large and well equipped. Everything was very clean and even included a nice view from the room. In the morning the staff was very accomodating during breakfast and served some coffee at the table right away. The buffet breakfast is rather standard european, but the choices are well enough and especially the bread was very tasty. A perfect place for our single night stop on our way to Hohenzollern castle, we definitely recommend.
The only thing I could come up with is that it would be nice to have an airconditioning during a hot day stay. However, our room was facing the quiet courtyard and so in our case an open window was sufficient too.
Nice staff, breakfast was sufficient
VERY NOISY!Busy street just 3 m from the windows, with full traffic during the night. No aircondition in the room and due to the traffic opening of the windows not possible, so terrible heat in the rooms.
Friendly, comfy, clean
No AC
Outstanding hotel and staff; this is a truly exceptional place. The only drawback was the church bell ringing every15 minutes during the night and then the LONG ring starting at 6:00am. I know there is nothing the hotel can doabout this. The restaurant is outstanding as is the breakfast. Truly, all best recommendations.
