    Pros +

    • Location and front views was the only good thing about this property however not able to enjoy, dirty and not safe.
    • Great location near the platia.
    • Nice facilities, multiple elevators, quick access to rooms

    Cons -

    • The entire building needs to be updated, needs urgent renovations. One room was so small hard to access bed. The other room smelt of dampness, stained carpet, mouldy room. Balcony not safe, chair and table dirty. Every time you entered the room you started to itch, black spots on mattress. DO NOT STAY HERE. No WiFi internet, tv old and would just increase in volume. This property is not correctly rated by BOOKING.com otherwise I would never have stayed here. THE SCORE IS WRONG
    • Our room was last updated in the 1950s/1960s and smelled like mothballs. The bathroom had avocado green toilet, sink & wet room style shower basin. The red carpet and bedspreads were clean, but old & worn. Our “balcony” was a rooftop area of broken cement with weeds growing through and a view of some derelict buildings.
    • The hotel is on a one way street and vehicle access might be difficult. Also, too little parking spaces on that street

It is very near at the centre of the town, and in the hotel there was somebody to take care of our needs. We had some recommendations of restaurants and other shops in the area and routes for walking.

The breakfast wasn't that nice, basic things like eggs boiled, sometimes omelette, some local marmalade, honey. I am not fond of sugar so I had some limitations.Other than that it was decent for what it was offering.

Hotel is located at the city center. Public parking with no cost very close. Quite, clean and very friendly staff.

Nice furniture, cozy, fireplace in the lobby. Decent breakfast as well.

In need of a renovation, the hotel is situated in the heart of the town. With its’ fireplaces and beautiful decorations it feels like living up in the mountains yet you are one minute on foot away from the hustle and bustle of Karpenisi. In my opinion, it would benefit from changing blankets, most of the things in the bathroom as well as doing bit of wall painting, plumping, plastering etc., just a suggestion. We would definitely revisit.

The breakfast would seem richer with a bit of omelette offered on top of boiled eggs.

Wasn't all too pricey, good location and decent overall.

Breakfast was included, but we wish we could choose without it for less, because we definitely wouldn't have chosen it. The place was overcrowded with no place to seat and the quality of the food wasn't very good..The beds were not comfortable enough, and unlike other hotels, there was no extra pillow to switch to.

Great location, comfortable bed and breakfast was good plenty to choose from. Free parking nearby, restaurants and pubs all within short walk. Lovely view from our room ,reminds me of Switzerland.

Great value and central location. Very friendly staff.

Hotel rooms/carpets are a little tired but for the cost are exceptional value. Breakfast a little disappointing.

Although I have visited more than twenty countries world-wide, it was at the age of 65 to visit Karpenisi for the first time. The hotel from almost any point of view wad marvelous. The old receptionist's proposal to visit Kefalovryso & Koryschades was met by enthousiasm from both of us, and with great sentiments as well. We also visited Megalo & Mikro Chorio that were also worth of getting there. The whole Karpenisi area is a beautiful place with an extra ordinary view, good food, and warm people. We also had some apple pie and coffee at the nearby Saloon that offers horse riding, too. We hope we come back within a year's time...

Even though there was some parking space in front of the hotel, enough for (des)embarking, the public parking lot was a couple of hundred meters apart.

The reception area Is very nice, traditionally furnished. The staff was always kind and helpful. The room was quite spacious

In order to have a room with renovated bathroom we had no view at all and we were obliged to keep the lights on most of the time.

Location - walking distance to center of town, only reason why I reserved due to elderly family members

Had reserved 2 apartments with balconies and 1 room with balcony. Upon arrival one of the apartments allocated to us had no balcony and no air conditioning in one of the rooms. We were moved to a different smaller room that was terrible. I won’t be staying at this property again. They were so busy that they don’t care.

The location of the hotel is in the centre of the city, but it was quite at night. The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean. The hotel has a lobby with view on one of the main streets. Good value for money.

The carpet in the room need a change.

    10FrangosPosted on: 8-6-2024

The breakfast was great with home cooked bakery and sweets daily.and with constant replanishment.

Every thing was wonderful .and very convenient to the center of the city

Superb breakfast, very central location with free parking very close by

A kettle for water in the room with tea and herbal teas would be useful

    6MarcoPosted on: 4-26-2024

    Pleasant

I paid on the day I arrived, but upon checking out, they claimed the room had not been paid for. Despite initially being unsatisfied with my mobile phone card receipt, I eventually obtained my invoice. However, the guy at the desk was kind and helpful.

Mrs Xenia is amazing, very sweet and very kindLocation is excellent Breakfast was very good. The dairy products and jams are local The price was very good also

The soundproofing of the windows was not that good. The shutters were also very old. I strongly suggest to the hotel to change them.

    8GeorgiosPosted on: 3-18-2024

Very central location. Very polite staff! The staff accepted to reduce the days of stay after our request.

    Needs renovation.

    8MariaPosted on: 3-16-2024

Excellent location just off the central square with a great view of the mountains.

During our stay, there was also a big group from Cephalonia that created lots of fuss and noise.
