Pros +
- The staff is so kind and welcoming at this hotel. They were patient as we practiced our Spanish with them. They all greeted us with a smile and warm hospitality. The breakfast is good and the dinners, especially the fixed price dinner were delicious and a great value. Large rooms with comfortable chairs and bed. Frig in room was really convenient. Nice shower and bidet as well.
- Very nice room, half board dinner also good
- Good location for walking. Good value especially half board. Meals were good. We were there in October and there wasn't really anywhere else to eat nearby. Staff were really helpful. Good breakfast.
Cons -
- Had to log into Wi-Fi every time we came back to the hotel, a little annoying.
- Breakfast area too small and with only one toast machine it got very slow and crowded
- The hotel is looking a little tired in parts

The hotel is looking a little tired in parts
This hotel looks like it's made for large groups (schools, the elderly, a business group, ...) but it's quite fancy for that. The room and bathroom are nice, but not too big. Are we the only couple that travel with 2 suitcases? Where to put the second one? (Although that doesn't apply to this hotel alone, but to almost all the others we visited and reviewed as well) ?The hotel has a non-heated outdoor swimming pool and there is on-site parking available for your (rental) car. There is a decent breakfast buffet. Like with many other places to stay and eat in Spain, vegetarians and vegans will find something to eat (jam, tomatoes on toast), but it's not heaven. The restaurant also serves a good dinner, although with very limited choices, again, for vegetarians. But they do their best to adapt meals when asked to.It is a great starting point for those who like to go hiking in the surrounding hills. Be sure to visit the small tourist information office, just outside the hotel. They have several maps and other info available for your hikes.
Our room did have quite annoying loud creaking wooden flooring. There are very, very limited choices for you to eat elsewhere. Close to none if you are vegetarian or vegan. The hotel's your only option.
lovely staff, great breakfast incl fresh orange juice, and brilliant location
The location was ideal for many fantastic walks from the hotel.Staff , service ,and food were very goodSize of junior suite was good.
Disappointed that the garden didn't have any furniture out despite the very hot weather.Lack of information available for guests in reception about the local area/ walk routes etc.We felt that there was a lack of attention to detail with regard to the room- i.e dirty windows, poorly fitted curtains, bathroom blind not working, fridge didn't get cold.
Comfortable and clean with friendly staff
no real character and few people about. Expensive for what it was.
Well located within the townBreakfast was abundantRoom was of a good sizeComfortable bed and pillows
No internal car parking
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bedrooms. We had the half board option and food was delicious.Lovely view of river from hotel restaurant.
WiFi in hotel was poor.
Good sized room, lovely location next to bubbling river. Pleasant lounge, bar and dining, all well air-conditioned. Lovely infinity pool right next to the river. (Unfortunately it was out of action for one of the two days we were there). The 18 euros 3 course meal with drink was good value and good quality, although limited vegetarian choices meant one of us had to choose another starter as the main. There was limited free parking at the hotel which we welcomed.
Exceptionally creaky floorboards in the bedroom - I dread to think what it must have been like for the room below us. We had an early start the morning we left, so had to move around the room mission-impossible style to try to avoid the creaky boards! No tea/coffee making facilities.
Great location and clean
The pool!It smelt damp and so did our swimwear afterwards. It had black around the edges from the mould and wasn’t tiled. It was a shame because the pool was in a great position. It needs to be tiled
Lovely place and very well kept. Excellent personal attention, food and pool.
Nice location, close to the river.Very spacious room with comfortable king size bed.Very good buffet breakfast. We had a lunch in the hotel restaurant, happy with the experience.Enough space to park in the street, EV recharge point available.
Location, cleanliness and restaurant
The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. The breakfasts were good and it was easy to get afternoon cups of tea. On the first night I was joined by six people — a group of walkers — and we had dinner in the restaurant. We ate three courses from the menu and everyone liked the food. The wine menu met with the approval of the group's wine experts. All was good.
All was good.
Location goodRoom GoodBreakfast good
There was no internet connection in the roomI had a poor evening meal
very pleasant staff beautiful location
our room looked a bit tired. crack in the large window bathroom door needed a repair and this was a superior room. perhaps this was the dog friendly room? wouldn’t recommend this hotel for dogs as they weren’t allowed anywhere apart from your room which is okay for an overnight stop but longer stays not viable. Dog bed. bowls provided and toy which was nice. Hotel externally needs redecorating now!!Generally everything looked as if it needed some TLCRestaurant lovely position food well presented and good value at €18. not many places to eat in the village and this was the end of June
The location was very good. We had no need to drive the car until we left to continue our trip. The room was comfortable. Plenty of restaurants nearby.
The breakfast was quite good, except the slice of bread my husband had was mouldy.
very clean and modern.nice meals and friendly staff.
the parking was a little tightmany of the nearby restaurants and bars were either closed or seemed to be slightly run down.
Comfortable hotel, spacious room, good evening meals. Breakfast adequate. Friendly staff.
No outside seating despite it being hot and sunny. No tables, chairs, benches etc.
