It seemed to always be empty.You can not park the car next to the hotel since the hotel is in a narrow street. The hotel parking is some 100m away.

Extremely comfortable little hotel tucked away in Jerte village, including a small but pleasant outdoor spa pool (although the water was too cold for me). Attention has been paid to every detail and the décor - a mixture of traditional and industrial - makes it quirky but comfortable. The restaurant is superb, we enjoyed an excellent dinner on the terrace. The menu, like the décor is traditional with a modern twist, and it works. Our steaks were perfect. All the staff were friendly and helpful, and didn't wince at my Spanish!
Warmer water in the pool! Maybe another comfortable chair in the bedroom, as it's not possible to watch the TV in bed.
Idyllic countryside location in a stone and timber building right in the heart of Jerte. Our room was well sized and tastefully decorated, with a view of the valley. The pool has additional jacuzzi and fountain features. Breakfast was ample and tasty with eggs and bacon cooked to order, while dinner was creative and worth booking for.
Signposting to the parking space shared by a group of hotels in the area was a little hidden, so this could be improved as it is tricky to turn around to get there without going around the whole village.
A good overall experience. Remarkable the good personal and friendly treatment. Facilities good and an excellent cuisine.

The hotel and the room were very nice but we had booked a Junior Suite to have a lounge and terrace...which happened to be a sun deck upstairs enclosed by walls, nice but no view. And the room itself turned out to have small windows with no view at all. What was really nice though was the garden with tables to enjoy a drink. Breakfast was ok but not as good as advertised. Diner in the restaurant was excellent and creative, but not part of the hotel service.
