We were traveling by car and wanted a hotel in a rural location for our last night before going to the Munich airport. This hotel was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Modern rooms in a quaint exterior. Limited but adequate evening menu in the restaurant, very good breakfast.

There is no lift, so one needs to be aware of that if you have mobility issues.

Great hosts, very clean and comfy. Restaurant food & service was awesome and breakfast was great. Quiet area, pastoral with cows nearby. Good for a quick stopover of one night if you need a break from the autobahn and stau's.

No mountain or lake views. I didn't realized the area would be pasture with trees all around, yet with the alps so close! So in my opinion having booked many places around Bavaria this and previous years, it is high priced for it's isolated, no view location..

The bar could be open longer. Some of the staff were not very polite.

I really appreciated calm and typical Bavarian place, right in the forest. ..not far from the highway and all the rest in the village. The staff was very helpful and friendly and amazing restaurant on place ! Fresh and local made breakfast

Nice traditional gues house with good comfortable rooms. The price is also very reasonable, and the location is great if you want to use it as a stop over for your vacation in Alps. People are very friendly.

Nothing to complain

We stayed at this hotel overnight on our way to Munich. Quiet and comfortable place , tasty breakfast included. The staff was friendly , helped us organizing coffee while breakfast. The hotel has alpine style.

Location, good dinner, good breakfast

Parking wasn't as easy as hoped but ok

This was a great little stop over hotel. It was basic but did the job. Parking is great. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. Recommend the Schnitzel as this was rather tasty.

It's very close to the highway - also very peaceful and relaxing, with quite nice breakfast.

Internet access was not optimal, even though the house has its own wlan... Also the mobile phone signal coverage seems not to be optimal as well.

The location worked well for us on our journey. The restaurant was typically Bavarian with a good choice of meals. Breakfast was excellent.

The decor in the room and upstairs corridor was dated and would benefit from a refresh.

Perfect stop when travelling to/from Munich. A few kms off the Autobahn and you're in quiet countryside. The rooms were spotless and the food was excellent. Had a lovely conversation with out server and a regular. Try the Schnapps—ausgezeichnet!

Very nice basic room w small clean bathroom

Our room was over the outside eating area and was very noisy w people till 11pm. Very hot and no AC so couldn’t close window

Nice comfortable clean room in peaceful location very close to motorway for overnight stop. Lovely evening meal in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice simple breakfast.

Only that there was no handsoap and shower gel supplied.

The location to the highway was good and it was very peaceful. The food was good and reasonably priced.

The room wasn’t very welcoming and the bed was extremely hard. Woke up with pins and needles. Bathroom was very small and tired; needed upgrading.

Nice breakfast and evening meal. Beautiful and peaceful location, but not too far off the main route. Would have liked to have spent more than just one night stopover to explore the area.

Room was not as nice as the pictures on Booking.com, so more basic than I expected. Room was a little cold.

This is in a gorgeous rural location. Many great walks close by. Staff very willing to accommodate all of my requests. Would stay there again.

Clean & comfortable. Near to the motorway for an over night stay .

Not a very good welcome . I stood waiting at the reception awhile before someone came . When the hostess did come she said hello ask me to fill in a check in form and went away again . I waited about 5 minutes for her to come back . She gave me the key and pointed to a door & said to the stairs. Breakfast 6am Till 10am and went again . In the room there was totally no information about the area. No tea / coffee facilities in the room. No information Where to eat in the evening. WiFi totally nothing . I went down to ask about the WiFi . There was a card on the reception desk. But no one to ask about anything. We had some food & drinks with us so we made do with that . We had driven 8 hours so didn’t want to go out and drive again to eat. The mirror in bathroom was broken. . The smoking balcony was next to our room window where people could look in to our room so had to keep that curtain closed . There were tables & chairs directly below our room so we could not open the window on that side as the cigarette smoke came into our room & was quite noise people talking & laughing. No shops. Nothing in the area at all . Breakfast was simple but ok .

Great location, great value and great, cosy breakfast. Rooms are rustic but that is part of the charm. Definitely recommend for a couple of nights.

Very nice and quiet location near highway. The breakfast was very nice also .The parking is free in front of the hotel. The room was super clean and the owner very kind and helpful
